Amazing Disney on Ice Worlds of Enchantment
We attended as a guest of the venue
Last night my family and I had the opportunity to see Disney on Ice Worlds of Enchantment at the Honda Center. Our whole family thoroughly enjoyed the show. My three year old left the show asking to go back to see it tomorrow and my one year old watched in amazement. This show is so well done and entertaining it had both of my young kiddos sitting still and watching in awe the entire time.
Mickey and Minnie host the show by introducing scenes from Toy Story 3, The Little Mermaid, Cars, and Frozen. Each storyline was presented with such talent from the ice skaters as they tell the story of each of the movies.
Toy Story 3 started in Andy’s room as he says goodbye to his toys before he leaves for college. Andy’s army men march on the ice with additional appearances from Buzz Lightyear, Woody, Cowgirl Jessie, Barbie & Ken and the rest of the characters from Toy Story, as they escape Lotso, the teddy bear at the Sunnyside Day Care.
The Little Mermaid introduced Ariel, Sebastian, Ursula, Flounder, and an appearance from Prince Eric. Disney enhanced our entertaining pleasure by having bubbles fall from the rooftop as they sang the song “Under the Sea.” All the parents and children were completely captivated.
Cars showcased Lightning McQueen and his pals racing across on the ice. It was so impressive to watch life size cars drive across the ice.
Frozen stole the show with fireworks as Elsa and the audience sang, “Let it Go.” Olaf came out on stage and was joined by bumblebees and singing flowers as he sang his song about summer. My son loves this movie and was excited to watch this part of the show. It really was done incredibly well.
All of the characters were extremely talented especially in some of the costumes they had to perform in. They had the most impressive ice-skating tricks. My son loved the show so much it inspired us to watch Toy Story 3 today as well as many discussions about going back to see it again. I am sure this will be talked about for a long time. We can’t wait to go back next year. I don’t even know how Disney will top this spectacular performance.
