Koalas at the San Diego Zoo Get a New HomeConrad Prebys Australian Outback Opens May 24

The Koalas at the San Diego Zoo have gotten a new home with the opening of the Australian Outback. The new 3-acre exhibit is officially open for the summer with new and exciting things for families to see. The San Diego Zoo is the most successful Koala breeding facility outside of Australia!

The new exhibit is home to Australia wallabies, wombats, and the short-beaked echidna. The animals are all settled into their new home just waiting for families to come visit them this summer. One of the common wombats has already broken in her exhibit and has dug tunnels and a sleeping den.

The San Diego Zoo is located at 2920 Zoo Drive in San Diego. Tickets are available for $44 adults, and $34 children.
