As a middle school student, school days are strenuous to me. From the piles of homework to last-minute projects school cannot get any more stressful. When the Sleepace Nox light arrived at our house, I thought it was going to go to my older brother or my parents, but when they gave it to me I was not only surprised, but I was really excited. The first thing I did was run up to my bedroom to set it up.I have never had a real alarm clock before. It was always my mom or dad coming into my room and turning on the light shouting “Wake up, it’s morning!”

When I opened the box, I was jumping everywhere with excitement. The first thing I did was turn it on and set up my Sleepace account. The reason I was really excited was that the main feature I saw was waking up music. Once I set up the app, I tried out all of the different sounds and lights. My account is set to wake me up with the tune of “Waking up Happy.” When it is time to wake up my Sleepace will turn on a color light of my choice and play the music of my choice. It will slowly start to get brighter and louder.

I also have it set for when I go to sleep it will play soothing music to make me fall asleep faster. I love this alarm clock is because it tracks how you sleep, tells you how long you need to rest, lets you customize your alarm clock, tells you the temperature of your room, and best of all wakes you up naturally. On my IPad, I can quickly change the settings to whatever I want to fall asleep or wake up to.

The Sleepace sleep light has been making school so much easier for me. With the light, I get more sleep so that I can stay focused, refreshed and happy throughout the day. School is no longer a stress to me; it is now fun and enjoyable.
