Billy Beez: New Ultimate Playtime Destination in Anaheim
We attended as a guest of Billy Beez
A new indoor playground has opened up in Anaheim at the GardenWalk. This place is amazing! When we first got to Billy Beez, we were met by staff members who walked us through the check in process. The staff placed wristbands on everyone in our party. It does not matter if you are two weeks old or 100 years old, they will give everyone a wristband that will match a card, which you will need to exit. It is a great safety measure to ensure the child with you, should be with you.
Once you are let in through the gate by the front counter, families are free to roam around and play. There is no age limit on playing at this very family-friendly place. They just ask that toddlers and young children be supervised at all times, and everyone must wear socks at all times. I suggest some gripper socks for smaller children, so they do not slip. We had my son wear some, and they worked out perfectly the whole time we were there.
The inside of Billy Beez is very bright and welcoming. They have made the place appealing so children will want to come in and play. There are bees all around on the different areas. The bees are adorable and the colors they used to paint the play area made it bright and cheery.
Billy Beez has so many things to do. You can climb, slide, play soccer, and basketball for hours. If your kids need a break from being active, they can unleash their creativity exploring the mini city. I love that they added this area because it gave my son a place to wind down a little when he was tiring out from all the climbing and sliding. It is also a great place for the younger kids to dress up and have some pretend play. Everything is scaled to a smaller child’s size, but big enough for us parents to walk in and play along with our kids.
Our favorite slide there was this multi-lane rainbow jumbo slide. It was a very fast slide and the smiles my son gave us as he went down were priceless. My husband and I even went down this slide multiple times, and we loved it. There is another slide that is not for the faint of heart. The thing goes straight down and I have never gone down a slide like it before. I was a little scared to let my 2-year-old go down it, but he went multiple times and was just fine. I guess he is not as much of a sissy as his Mama is.
Every time you turn around in Billy Beez you will find new and exciting things to explore. With over 100 pieces of play equipment, there is something for everyone. They have a ball area where you can place the foam balls in vacuum tubes, and they shoot out. It is so much fun! My son loved pushing the buttons there and sucking the foam balls up over and over again.
If you get hungry or thirsty, there is a Honey Cafe that serves healthy refreshments.
Another area we spent some time in was the Toddler area. The slides and toys here are for the 5 and under crowd. My little guy had fun here, but he liked the adventure of climbing and sliding on the bigger play structures more.
Billy Beez has party rooms so you can host your children’s parties here. I am sure this would be a huge hit with the party guests. Everything at Billy Beez is so much fun and the best part it is very clean!
We will be returning here very soon to let our kids get their wiggles out and even to get us parents some exercise as we climb around and have a blast with our kids.
