One of the best gifts that children can give their Dad on Father’s Day is a gift that brings them closer together. A gift that they can use together, and create memories that will last a lifetime together while experiencing it. The best gift to give dad on Father’s Day that will encourage families to spend quality time together is LEGO.

For years, Father’s have enjoyed spending time with their children building LEGO sets. It is a great opportunity for kids to talk to their dads, problem-solve together, and to just have fun together. Family is at the heart of the LEGO brand, and that shines in the LEGO Batman Movie that comes out on DVD tomorrow, June 13th.

When looking for the perfect LEGO set to get for Dad on Father’s Day, these are some of our favorites, and don’t forget to include a copy of the LEGO Batman Movie in dad’s gift bag to enjoy watching with the kids before bed on Father’s Day.

LEGO Architecture United States Capitol Building Kit

Build a LEGO brick model of one of the world’s most architecturally impressive and symbolically important structures. Located in Washington DC, the United States Capitol is a magnificent example of neoclassical architecture covering more than 1.5 million square feet and with over 600 rooms and miles of corridors. The building that we see today is the result of several major periods of construction that have taken place since president George Washington first laid the cornerstone on September 18, 1793. With over 1,000 building blocks, this meticulously detailed LEGO Architecture interpretation of the U.S. Capitol focuses on the structure’s striking white, columned facade with its famous steps and lawns, and features a removable dome for access to a detailed interior depicting the famous National Statuary Hall, complete with columns, statues and tiled floor.

LEGO Architecture: The Eiffel Tower

Presenting the LEGO Architecture interpretation of one of the most iconic landmarks ever constructed – The Eiffel Tower! Designed and built by French entrepreneur, Gustave Eiffel, the original 324-meter-tall masterpiece of wrought iron engineering formed the grand entrance to the 1889 World’s Fair, held in Paris to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution. During construction, the 18,038 wrought iron elements making up the tower’s lattice structure were bolted together at Eiffel’s factory on the outskirts of Paris, before being transported to the site, hoisted into place by steam-powered cranes operating from the elevator shafts and assembled using no less than 2.5 million individual rivets. The resulting structure was extremely rigid and over the years has withstood storms, floods and everything else mother nature has thrown at it. Today, The Eiffel Tower is one of the world’s most popular landmarks, attracting millions of curious visitors from around the world each year. With this exceptional model, you can now build your very own 321-piece Eiffel Tower in LEGO brick form and display it in your home, office or wherever you like!
