Netflix Trollhunters Inspired Rock Trolls Craft

Posted by on Dec 27, 2016 in Crafts, Entertainment, Television Shows | 0 comments

We are a member of the Netflix Stream Team The minute that my kids saw their first episode of Trollhunters on Netflix, they fell in love with the show. They were immersed into a world where the trolls live, and couldn’t stop talking about the show for days after watching the first couple of episodes. Since my kids love the Netflix series so much, I decided to help them make their own trolls at home, so we made rock trolls. My kids favorite part of making this craft was acting out some scenes from the series while searching for rocks around the neighborhood. All of the rocks the kids collected were just as unique as the trolls in the Netflix series. They had a blast taking their time to carefully find rocks that looked just like the trolls in...

We attended as a guest of the studio Earlier this month, we had the unique opportunity of going behind-the-scenes of the making of the popular ABC television series Dr. Ken. I was given a tour of the set where they film the show, meet with the cast and snap a ton of pictures. If you haven’t been on the set of a television series before, it is super cool. The sets are located inside of large buildings (soundstages) with the soundstage for Dr. Ken being located on the Sony Studios lot in Century City. Inside of the building is small sets that make-up the different place where the film the series. Before going on my first set visit, I thought that when they were filming inside of a house that it was a full house built inside of the...

I’ve watched every episode from beginning to end, some two to three times and even watched Jesse over and over!” The “Fuller House” Premiere was fantastic to attend at the Grove in Los Angeles.  Sponsored Let’s be honest that monitoring kids television time is a challenge for many parents. With all the great series, movies, and documentaries, it can be tempting for children to try and spend most of their free time watching television. Now that the kids are back in school, and spending less time being active outdoors, it is more important than ever to monitor their screen time so that they can live a well-balanced lifestyle. Charting I am the queen of charts. With our family being so busy with school, sports, and work, charts are the easiest way that my family has found to balance our kids screen time. I keep a small chart by the television where we monitor our children’s screen time. I also use the same chart to add extra television time as a reward for good...
