The Cirque Magique: A Morning at the Circus

Posted by on Mar 20, 2017 in Dining, Events | 0 comments

We attended as a guest of the venue On a Sunday morning, we surprised our kids with news that we were going to take them to have breakfast at the circus. When we drove up to The Pirate’s Dinner Adventure, my kids screamed “PIRATES” but soon learned that they were going to experience something fun and new at the Pirate’s Dinner Adventure, The Cirque Magique. When we entered the building, the entire lobby was set-up like a mini circus. There was popcorn being served, and everyone was dressed in circus attire. Clowns were walking around greeting and interacting with children until the time had come for everyone to enter the room for breakfast. In the main room, there were multiple tables and a large stage in the center of the room. Families took their seats and got ready for...

Family Fun at Babychella

Posted by on Mar 17, 2017 in Events | 0 comments

The sun was shining, and it was such a perfect day for a festival. My kids and I went to Babychella, which is a family art and music festival geared towards the five and under crowd, but enjoyed by all ages. My four kids ages 12, 10, 4 and two months old all found something they enjoyed. My older two children liked watching the band School Of Rock, my 2-month-old liked all the colorful things hanging around, and my four-year-old loved all the hands-on activities plus the sing-alongs. The event was held at the William R. Mason Regional Park in Irvine. Right in the middle of this big park was where all the fun took place. When we first arrived we watched a band play; then we headed over to the food trucks. My Kids always seem to...

Whipped Cream Ballet at the Segerstrom Center

Posted by on Mar 17, 2017 in Entertainment, Events, Theatre | 0 comments

We attended as a guest of the venue I love ballet, and I love going to see it with my Dad. When I was little, I used to take ballet classes, and it was so fun. As the days went on I got busier and busier, and it was hard for me to keep up, so I decided to stop. Since I love ballet so much, I always get excited when the Segerstrom Center for the Arts hosts the American Ballet Theatre. I saw the Nutcracker at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, and it was probably one of the best ballets I have ever seen until now. This time I went to see the ballet Whipped Cream and it was fantastic! This ballet was unlike anything I have ever seen before. From the creative costumes to the amazing...

Posted by on Feb 22, 2017 in Events | 0 comments

We visited as a guest of the venue Recently, I had the chance to attend a really cool monthly event; Corks & Canvas, hosted by Fire + Ice at the GardenWalk in Anaheim. The funny thing is, I had just added a night out to go painting on my list of must do’s for the year ahead, I’m big on broadening my experiences each year. I was even more excited since this would allow me to revisit my love of painting; something I haven’t done for about ten years now. Venturing out in the rain this evening, I found I wasn’t going to let a little water from the sky stop me from painting and following my passion again. Corks & Canvas is all about enjoying an evening of painting! I loved that our instructor was from the local...

Making Monster Jam a Tradition

Posted by on Feb 21, 2017 in Events | 0 comments

We visited as a guest of the venue Monster Jam is one of my most favorite shows to take my two sons to see. My oldest son is now 14, and we have been attending Monster Jam ever year since he was just 4 years old. We always make sure to get Pit Passes when purchasing our tickets so that we can get an up close look at the impressive monster trucks and meet their drivers before the show. Every year there is a show that is put on in the pits that are exclusive to the people who have purchased the Pit Pass. The pre-show never disappoints, and this year it was the motorcycle riders doing stunt jumps and street bikes that were burning rubber that was epic. Also, there were BMX bike riders doing awesome tricks for...
