Posted by on May 8, 2017 in Events, Featured, Shopping | 0 comments

Hosted in partnership with the Irvine Spectrum Center The Irvine Spectrum Center Toddler Tuesdays kicked off last week with a festive fiesta. Families from all over Orange County came to the shopping community to create memories that will last a lifetime with their children. The event was located in Giant Wheel Court from 10 am to 12 pm. During the event, Wahoo’s and TLT Food offered delicious complimentary food to all the guests. Children were savoring every bite of Wahoo’s chicken tacos and TLT Food’s cheese quesadillas. Along with the food, was endless fun. Children had an opportunity to decorate mini maracas at the art table and Pretend City was on site to offer play advice for parents. On each side of the Giant Wheel Court were face painting, balloon making, and a super creative photo booth for parents...

Artisan Eco-Friendly Jewelry

Posted by on Apr 13, 2017 in Giving Back, Shopping | 0 comments

Sponsored I love wearing handmade jewelry and supporting local artisans. Recently, one of my friends was wearing a beautiful piece of jewelry, and when I looked at the website where she purchased it, I immediately knew that I wanted to get a beautiful necklace to add to my jewelry collection. The company, Songa, is unlike any other artisan website that I have ordered an item from before. They employ skilled women throughout the country of Rwanda to make jewelry and handbags. They provide the women with skills that they need to create beautiful pieces of art and give them an opportunity to money to help support their families. A great part of the jewelry line is that everything is made with recycled products, and the women receive fair wages for their work that help them to move forward with...

Five Clever Tips to Simplify Making School Lunches

Posted by on Apr 6, 2017 in Family, Hot Topics, Parenting, Shopping | 0 comments

We are down to the last couple of months of the school year, and I know that I am not alone when it comes to school lunch burn-out. I started the year making the kids creative bento box lunches, and now I find myself digging through my refrigerator every morning trying to find everything I need to pack my kids a well-balanced lunch. When my kiddo came home from school one day asking me if he could buy school lunch, I knew it was time to get out of my lunch packing rut and find some ways to simplify making my kids healthy and tasty school lunches. Making lunches the night before I know that we are all tired at the end of a long day chasing after toddlers or driving our kids all around town and just...

Simplifying Carpooling with the mifold Booster Seat

Posted by on Apr 4, 2017 in Family, Parenting, Shopping | 0 comments

Sample received I do not know about you, but my life is hectic. I have four kids and do school carpool and extracurricular activities with my kids and their friends. Kids are in and out of my car on a daily basis. Lugging around booster seats is not very convenient, so I first purchased a blow-up booster seat. It worked well, but I had to be the one to buckle the kids in and unbuckle them because none of them could ever get the seatbelt out of the belt path. It was frustrating to the kids and to me. I was recently given the mifold Grab-and-Go Booster Seat to try out that are available in different colors. We got a very nice blue one. It has also been regularly crash tested and meets or exceeds the Federal Motor Vehicle...

Storymakery: a Perfect Daddy/Daughter Night Out

Posted by on Feb 9, 2017 in Education, Hot Topics, Shopping | 0 comments

We visited as a guest of the venue One of the activities my wife and I like to do from time to time is spend an evening with each child one on one.  With that in mind on Friday night, my daughter and I had a planned activity. Trying to figure out an activity that is fun, educational and unique was my focus for the week prior to our night out. Fortunately for me, I was given an opportunity to visit Storymakery at Irvine Spectrum. While I was not fully familiar with the store, the evening’s plan was very intriguing. The activity would start by local author, Jeannie Fung reading her book (Hawaii) and then answering some questions. After that, the kids would each write their own stories and get it published. I thought that ending the evening with a...

Tips for Finding the Perfect Bra after a Breast Lift

Posted by on Jan 18, 2017 in Beauty, CosmetiCare, Hot Topics, Shopping | 0 comments

Sponsored Before having my mastopexy (breast lift) everyone told me that the hardest part following the surgery was going to be finding the perfect bra, and they were right. These are some tips from my experience to help you with finding the perfect bra after your breast lift. When you come home from your surgery, you’ll be wearing a surgical bra. You’ll want to wear this for about the first week following your surgery. Once your doctor advises that it is alright to wear your own bra, you can start bra shopping. I recommend getting a bra that has a full front zip for the second to the third week following your surgery. My doctor advised me that I could wear any bra just as long as it did not have an underwire, and the front zip bra made...

Fashionable UV Protective Children’s Swimwear

Posted by on Jan 10, 2017 in Family, Shopping | 0 comments

Sample Received It might be winter, but we are still getting some days with weathers temperatures in the high 70’s. Although it is winter, it is still important to keep our children protected from harmful UV rays. Since our family goes to the beach on a regular basis, it is important for me to find swimwear for my children that has added UV protection to help keep their precious skin protected. There are a lot of swim wear lines available with UV protection on the market. The only problem is that most of them are ugly, and only have sizes for toddlers. My daughter is a little fashionista, and she won’t wear most of the UV protective swimwear I have purchased in the past because it just doesn’t work with her fashion style. I have been on the search...

Interactive Game Night with Pie Face Showdown

Posted by on Sep 29, 2016 in Education, Family, Parenting, Shopping, Toys | 0 comments

This post was sponsored by Hasbro as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central and all opinions expressed in my post are my own. Our favorite thing to do together as a family is to have a family game night. Our kids would rather play games with us in the evening vs. watching television, and it is all because of interactive games available like Pie Face Showdown. I have wanted to get the kids a new game to play, and when I found out about the Pie Face Showdown game that was coming out on October 1st, I couldn’t wait to test it out with my kids. Since this game is more of an “outside” game, I planned to surprise my kids with the new game during their after school snack time. Once the kids finished their snack,...
