Outlets at San Clemente VIP Lounge

Posted by on Sep 14, 2016 in Family, Fashion, Shopping | 0 comments

We visited as a guest of the venue The Outlets at San Clemente is one of the most premier shopping destinations for families in Orange County. There are a wide variety of outlets stores offering everything from housewares to shoes. One of our favorite things about the Outlets at San Clemente is that it is a very family-friendly shopping destination offering families spacious outdoor walking paths, outdoor family games, and an exclusive VIP lounge. When doing all of our back-to-school shopping this year, I did most of my shopping at the Outlets at San Clemente. I was able to stretch my dollar much further than at the traditional mall, and my kids were kept entertained with their interactive outdoor games. While the kids loved the games, my favorite thing about shopping at the outlet center was their new VIP...

Make the Switch for Soft and Strong Tushie Tissue

Posted by on Sep 12, 2016 in Deals, Family, Hot Topics, Shopping | 0 comments

“This post was sponsored by Charmin as part of an Influencer Activation for Influence Central.” Finding high-quality products at the lowest possible price is important to most families like ours. One household item that I never want to sacrifice quality is our toilet paper. The only problem is that in a household with three young children causing us to through so many rolls a week, we are forced to purchase a lower priced toilet paper than we would like. Our family has been using Angel Soft® for many years because of its reputation for softness and having an affordable price point until recently. Every back-to-school season, my husband and I, work on our family budget and discuss ways our family can save. I recently learned that the Charmin® Essentials Soft and Charmin® Essentials Strong toilet paper is now available...

Posted by on Aug 17, 2016 in Family, Fitness, Shopping | 0 comments

We attended a preview event as a guest of the venue Big news for us, fitness-minded people, looking for cute, and comfortable workout apparel in Orange County. We have a new Fabletics retail location which recently opened in The Shops at Mission Viejo. It was so exciting for me because I enjoy working out and I really like the Fabletics line. On a recent evening, I popped in to take a peek at the store up close. While familiar with Fabletics; having used their monthly active wear service delivered to my home, I really love the idea that I can now try things on first. Like most, my body type is a little hard to fit, since I’m only 5’1 and basically have no waist. I’ve had great results during my membership, but occasionally I need to return an...

A Special Pen for my Superhero

Posted by on Jun 14, 2016 in Father's Day, Shopping | 0 comments

Sponsored My love affair with pens started many years ago, when I was 11 years old. My father gave me my first pen set that was not disposable. It was a Cross pen and pencil silver set that he had gotten me for my birthday. I loved that set so much, it took me several months to just take it out of the box.  But I used it on daily basis (at home), as I was too afraid to take it to school. At the time, my father presented the pen set to me, he explained that my grandfather had also given him his first nice pen set when he was 11. Apparently this was some sort of a family tradition. The pen gifts did not stop when I passed the age of 11; they reappeared when I graduated from High...

Girls – think lightweight, sporty, and fun. Sea Dogs are their new water shoes and are a total score for any girl who wants to feel like they’re walking on clouds! Packing Summer Lunches To-Go with Bentgo

Posted by on May 21, 2016 in Family, Health, Shopping | 0 comments

Sample received I am so excited that summer is almost here, and that I can go exploring every day with my three children. Since we are rarely home in the summer and spending our days hiking, swimming or relaxing on the beach, I have to make sure and plan in advance of what to pack for summer lunches. One of the biggest struggles that I have found with packing summer lunches is finding containers that will be leak-proof and keep the food cold throughout the warm summer mornings. I recently discovered a revolutionary product called Bentgo that has the ideal compartment sizes to create a “bento-style” lunch for your children in a leak-proof container. The all-in-one children’s bento lunchbox features five compartments, is lightweight, and insulated to help keep the food cold longer. I have found that putting the...

Sponsored Ontario Mills is the premier shopping destination in Southern California to find the best deals on fashion. Guests can enjoy added savings during their spring accessories sale currently happening until May 31st. When I heard about the sale, I couldn’t wait to drive to Ontario to score some awesome deals, and I also got to surprise some lucky shoppers with some complimentary accessories! It was the first time that I had done an ambush makeover, and I was a little nervous about what to expect. I checked into guest services, got a couple of $50 gift cards, and started walking around the mall to spot shoppers wearing the current fashion trends (cobalt blue, metallics, florals, and stripes). Surprisingly it was quite challenging for me to find customers wearing these fashion trends in the mall, but I was able...

Getting Prepared for Summer Camping

Posted by on Apr 21, 2016 in Camp, Family, Featured, Giveaways, Shopping, Staycation, Travel | 66 comments

Sponsored We have tried camping a couple of times with our children but was never able to have a successful camping trip because of being unprepared. We never invested in a proper tent, camping stove or camping light. The result was a terrible camping experience that left us not wanting to camp ever again. Well, as our kids have been getting older, they continually ask us if we can go on a family camping trip, so we made the commitment to purchase the proper camping supplies at Kohl’s, and give it another try. Kohl’s has a great selection of camping supplies from tents to stoves making it an easy one-stop shopping destination to prepare for our weekend camping trip. We invested in a really nice (and pretty) Coleman eight-person tent, a Coleman 3-in-1 propane camping stove, and a Coleman...

Posted by on Apr 15, 2016 in Family, Fashion, Shopping | 0 comments

We received sample shoes in exchange for our honest review. Cienta Shoes is an internationally recognized brand of eco-friendly, stylish shoes made in Spain. For over 30 years this family owned business has specialized in making high quality, natural rubber shoes for children. Their production process is focused on the correct development of young feet and comfort is of top priority. Now, for how this natural rubber based shoe hits the road… When we opened up our two sample pairs of shoes, I immediately thought they were cute and stylish.  We tested out a girl pair of Mary Jane’s and a toddler boy pair of suede booties. In my opinion cute girl’s clothes and shoes are a breeze to come by, but sometimes it’s more difficult to find on trend boy’s fashions. But these booties are a kick.  Just look...

Sponsored One of the most significant purchases a new mom has to make is the diaper bag. It is important to find a diaper bag that will fit all your needs while away from home, and will be built to last. As a mom of three young children, I have purchased multiple diaper bags that have broken down quickly and have not been equipped to handle the amount of things I need to pack for my three kids while on the go. I was recently introduced to a new company called Haruhonpo USA that creates cute backpacks, purses, and diaper bags. We put their Pumpkin Silver Leopard diaper bag to the test over the past couple of weeks, and it is one of the best diaper bags that I have had. It features 12 storage compartments and comes with...

The American Girl Cafe in Los Angeles

Posted by on Jan 20, 2016 in Dining, Shopping | 0 comments

We recently had the pleasure of the lunch experience at The Cafe at American Girl. Our American Girls, and their American Girl dolls, loved it! American Girl has definitely perfected dining catered to kids with their cafe in Los Angeles. They supply high chairs and tea cups for all dolls, which my girls thought was pretty much the most fun ever. On every table is a box of fun conversation starters to spark a discussion that you might now otherwise think of. And at every turn they are bringing out a new little starter plate to nibble on, or a bubbly drink to enjoy out of a fancy glass! The multi-course meal started the moment we sat down with miniature cinnamon buns for everyone. Shortly after that, our festive drinks arrived, followed by a crudités and cheese platter. Not long...

In other words, think of Groupon Coupons as an opportunity to save a few bucks within an opportunity to save a few bucks.
