We attended as a guest of TCL Little did I know when driving up to Los Angeles a couple of weeks ago for the world premiere of HBO’s Big Little Lies, that the show would become my all-time favorite series. The night of the premiere, I got on my prettiest dress and picked up my friend Darice to go to the premiere. Outside of the TCL Chinese Theatres was a long blue carpet where celebrities were getting ready to walk down before entering the theater. We found a spot on the carpet and eagerly awaited our favorite celebrities to arrive. While on the “blue” carpet, we got a chance to meet Nicole Kidman (squeal), Reese Witherspoon, Laura Dern, and more. Once the last celebrity had walked the carpet, everyone entered the TCL Chinese Theatre to watch the debut of...

Posted by on Mar 15, 2017 in Disney, Entertainment, Featured, Film | 0 comments

We attended as a guest of Disney I’ll never forget the time that I saw Beauty and the Beast for the first time in theaters. It was in the winter of 1991, I was fifteen years old, and it was the first time that my parents let me go to a theater alone with my girlfriends. All I remember was being captivated by the music, falling in love with the characters, and realizing that true love really does exist. Flash forward over 25 years, and I find myself falling in love with the story all over again when watching the live action version in a Los Angeles theater. Only this time, I wasn’t the teenager, my two children sitting next to me were. I got to watch my fifteen-year-old son fall in love with the story just as much...

The tide was low, and it was the perfect time to see all the beautiful sea life living in the tide pools on Main Beach. After splashing our toes in the ocean, we walked...

I didn’t realize that Magdalena Bay was close to La Paz, Mexico until a friend of mine posted that it was whale season in Magdalena Bay on her Facebook page. The minute that she told me that Magdalena Bay was just a couple of hours drive from La Paz, I went online to book our airline tickets to visit La Paz to see the whales. Why can you touch gray whales in Magdalena Bay and nowhere...

Last weekend, our family was able to have a weekend getaway to La Paz for less than the price of going to Palm Springs for the weekend!! Many of my friends are constantly asking me questions about how the Cross Border Xpress (CBX) works, so I decided to write a step-by-step guide on what to expect and how your family can use this great service to enjoy the benefits of affordable travel...

We visited as a guest As mom’s, it is important to take time to spoil ourselves once in awhile. We work so hard to care for our families that we all deserve some pampering from time to time. Ever since I started wearing hair extensions (almost ten years ago), I have wanted to try eyelash extensions. All of my friends who have them look fabulous and the best part is that they never have to wear mascara in the morning. Once we wrapped up the busyness of the holidays, I made an appointment at Amazing Lash Studio Monarch Beach. When I arrived at the lash studio, I was immediately in love. The studio has a spa-like vibe, and the staff made me feel comfortable in one of their plush chairs while going through the process with me. While sipping...

My younger son loves animals, and the one thing that he wanted to do when we were in Jamaica was to go horseback riding. It was time for me to tackle my fears, and I made reservations for us to go on a Jamaican horseback riding adventure. We arrived at a ranch in Jamaica after some ziplining and river tubing fun to find a wide variety of beautiful horses just waiting to greet our children. My kids ran over to the horses and immediately started rubbing their faces and giving them kisses. I told the staff about my fear of riding a horse, and they advised me just to stay...
