Teaching Children About Kwanzaa

  Raising a blended family, it is important to me that I expose my children to different cultural celebrations. With the start of Kwanzaa today, we honored the African-American heritage in our household by lighting a Kinara, and singing songs in celebration of this special holiday. If you are wanting to teach your children about the Kwanzaa holiday, here is some information that I published on my old blog many years ago about the holiday… Kwanzaa is a week-long celebration honoring African-American heritage with the lighting of the Kinara.
