While my son was at his first Junior High pool party in Ladera Ranch a couple of weeks ago, my younger son and I spent the afternoon playing at Flintridge Park in Ladera Ranch. Ladera Ranch is home to so many parks, but Flintridge ended up being one of his favorite parks in the community. He spent the afternoon climbing on the monkey bars, speeding down the slide, and digging in the sand. Flintridge Park is located at the corner of Chardonnay Drive and Sauvignon Drive in Ladera Ranch. It is located right behind the Flintridge Community pool, and parking is available in the parking lot or on any of the surrounding streets.   Last week, after spending the day at Founders Park in Ladera Ranch, we decided to make a quick stop at Chaparral Park in Ladera Ranch. The park is located right next to a school, so there is a lot of parking available for families to visit this park. There is also a small walkway located next to the park...

There was lots of green grass, for my son to kick the ball, benches for us to eat a snack, and plenty of shade. Where is it located? The park is located at 28275 Avendale Boulevard, right off of Antonio. There is a large amount of parking, and lots of covered picnic tables with barbecues. One of my favorite features of this park is the nice (and clean) public bathroom. The park features a medium size climbing structure with a swing set. There are some small rockers for the kids to play on, and lots of sand for sand toy play. What my son loved...
