Posted by on Jun 26, 2013 in Knott's Berry Farm, Theme Parks | 0 comments

We visited Knott’s Soak City as a guest of Knott’s. Knott’s Soak City is officially open for the summer in Orange County. We could not wait to hit the water slides at Knott’s, and joined in on the opening weekend fun. While visiting Knott’s Soak City for opening weekend, we were able to create a family guide for visiting Knott’s Soak City with your family this summer. How to get there? Where do you park? Knott’s Soak City is located right across the street from Knott’s Berry farm. As you drive along Beach Blvd., you cannot miss the giant Knott’s Berry Farm signs. Park like you would be going to the theme park. Go under the small bride and into the main parking lot. Drive to the far east corner and you’ll find the best parking for Soak City....

Posted by on Jun 3, 2013 in Featured, Knott's Berry Farm, Theme Parks | 0 comments

Knott’s Berry Farm just opened three new attractions at their new Boardwalk. Bright blue water surrounds the new family-friendly rides that include Coast Rider, Surfside Gliders, and Pacific scrambler. When first stepping foot along the Boardwalk at Knott’s Berry Farm, families will transport to an actual boardwalk, only to find that they are still at Knott’s. Our family guide, to the Knott’s Berry Farm Boardwalk, will help your family plan your next trip to Knott’s Berry Farm. Coast Rider While I cannot believe that me, the roller coaster chicken, would ride this ride – I did! It was awesome!! Although I did not open my eyes, it was a blast. This is going to be your family’s first and favorite ride along the Boardwalk. Since this ride might possibly become the most popular along the Boardwalk, we recommend...

Posted by on May 3, 2013 in Events, Featured, Giveaways, Knott's Berry Farm, Uncategorized | 21 comments

It’s heating up, and time to make a splash at Knott’s Soak City this summer! Soak City is one of the best things to do with kids in Southern California. With their fast water slides, lazy river and water play the fun is endless. Last year, Knott’s Soak City, was one of our favorite places to cool-off from the summer heat. My kids could not get enough of the fun water slides, and we created so many wonderful family memories while floating along the lazy river. My favorite thing to do at Soak City is to rent a private cabana for the day. When staying in a cabana, we were able to get personalized service, have our food brought right to us and plenty of shade. When visiting Soak City this summer, come early to order a private...

Disclosure: We attended a media preview for the log ride opening. The famous Knotts Berry Farm log ride is currently closed for renovation and redesign. The historic ride is undergoing its first major renovation since first being built in 1969. The ride was originally called the Calico Log Ride before being renamed as the Timber Mountain Log Ride. Garner Holt Productions is doing the complete redesign of the log ride scheduled to reopen on Memorial Day weekend.   It is Spring and flowers are blooming all over Knott’s Berry Farm until April 7th. There are more events, more shows and more family fun to enjoy at this festive Spring event. Last weekend, my husband Steve took the kids with him to explore the Spring event at Knott’s. When the first arrived at Knott’s Berry Farm, they savored in the delicious food at Spur’s Restaurant. Spur’s is one of our favorite restaurants to dine at when visiting Knott’s. Spurs is located outside of the Ghostrider ride and has a family-friendly outdoor patio. After they were done eating, it was time for them to enjoy some fun around the park. They went in search of the Easter Beagle by searching for five different hide-outs hidden throughout the park. The kids were given a card that helped to guide...

Posted by on Jan 8, 2013 in Events, Featured, Knott's Berry Farm, New Year's Eve, Uncategorized | 0 comments

Knott’s Berry Farm was hosting a “family friendly” NYE Celebration this year. We have had season passes this year and have visited Knott’s numerous times over the past year. We had never seen so many young families enjoying quality time together, at Knott’s as we did on New Year’s Eve. There was fun to be enjoyed throughout the park. The big festivities began starting at dark, but since we are a little nervous about driving with young kids at night on New Year’s Eve, we had to miss the dancing and fireworks. We were still able to feel like part of the NYE celebration at Knott’s by following the fun on Instagram. When we first arrived at Knott’s Berry Farm, we started on some of our classic favorite Knott’s rides, The mailbox ride, cho-cho train and the hot...
