Dine Inside of a Life-Size Gingerbread House
We visited as a guest of the venue
While our family was visiting Great Wolf Lodge this holiday season, we had the most memorable experience dining inside of a giant life-size gingerbread house. The gingerbread house is located in the lobby of the resort and is adorned with candy treats.
The gingerbread house features:
663 pounds of gingerbread dough
5,635 Square feet of Gingerbread
70 Gallons of Icing
450 pounds of Mike & Ikes
135 pounds of gumdrops
85 hours of icing
160 hours of house creation
Everyone who visits Great Wolf Lodge during the holidays is drawn to the beauty of the life-size gingerbread house. Inside of the house is a circular table where families are invited to have an unforgettable dining experience.
The second it was time for our family to dine in the gingerbread house, our children squealed with delight. All their sugar plum dreams were about to come true as the server guided us to the door of the gingerbread house.
Once inside we were given a menu with a wide variety of culinary options, and we had our own personal server. There is a television located inside of the house, and our children were invited to select a movie of their choice – they choose the movie Elf.
It was a magical afternoon as our family created a special memory that will live in our hearts forever.
Families are invited to make reservations to dine inside the life-size gingerbread house until the end of Snowland (January 1st). Reservations are open to everyone, so you don’t have to be a guest of Great Wolf Lodge to dine inside the gingerbread house.
The cost is $10 plus the price of your meal. The $10 donation will go to benefit Ronald McDonald House Charities. Reservations are available online at Yelp or at the front desk. Don’t miss creating a special memory with your children by dining inside of the life-size gingerbread house at Great Wolf Lodge.
