Father’s Day Events in Orange County

Father’s Day is a special time to show your husband or dad how much you care. Bring dad to one of these Father’s Day events in Orange County this year.

Father’s Day Tall Ship Cruise

Arg! Set sail on Father’s Day morning aboard the Tall Ship in Dana Point. The 3 hour sail is recommended for ages 4 and up. There will be two sails at 10am and 1pm, and includes an onboard meal. Prices are $45 for adults, and $35 for children. Registration is currently available online.

Father’s Day Walkabout
Ladera Ranch East Trail

For the active dad, bring him to Ladera Ranch for the Father’s Walkabout. The guided hike is recommended for children over the age of six, and will be from 8am to 10am. Registration is $10 per adult, and $5 per child. Registration is limited, and currently available online.

6th Annual Balboa Bay Club Car Show

The annual Father’s Day Car Show will be held on the upper deck parking lot of the Balboa Bay Club from 11am to 3pm. There will be cars, a BBQ lunch, activities, and fun for all who attend. The event is open to the public.

Learning to Grill with Dad Cooking Classes

This is the perfect event for the dad who loves to cook. The classes are open to children and their dads over the age of 8, and is $40 per person. Dad and his children will learn the art of grilling during this interactive class. Registration is required online.

Children ages 2 to 8 years are encouraged to bring dad for an afternoon of crafts, music and fun at the Bower’s Museum. The event is from 1:30 to 3pm. Admission is $6 per child, and adults are included with admission. (Children under the age of 2 are free)

Free Fishing Clinic

For the dad who loves to fish, bring him to the free fishing clinic at Dana Wharf. The free fishing clinic is from 12pm to 12:30pm. Families can enjoy doing more fishing through a charter or finish the afternoon whale watching. This event is perfect for the dad who loves the ocean.

Irvine Indoor Marketplace Father’s Day Celebration

Celebrate Father’s Day at the Irvine Indoor Marketplace with a special performance by Don Cheto from la Que Buena, a mechanical bull and a taco bar. The event will take place from 12pm to 4pm.

Crusin’ Brea Classic Car Show

For the dad who loves classic cars, bring him down to see all of Orange County’s best classic cars at this fun car show. The cars will be parking at 8am, and the awards ceremony will be at 2:30pm. For those dad’s who have a classic car they want to bring to the show, entries are $30 per car.

Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center Celebration

Bring dad for a day of swimming at the Aliso Viejo Aquatic Center from 10am to 6pm on Sunday, June 16th. There will be $3 chef specials at the Oasis Cafe throughout the day.
