Five Facts About Disney’s Future-Worm

We attended a preview of the show as a guest of Disney

Future-Worm

Did you hear? Disney XD has a rad new series coming on August 1st called Future-Worm. Not that long ago, while I was in LA learning about the film “The BFG,” I also got to learn about this cool new pre-teen cartoon series. I saw a couple of episodes and immediately knew that my 12 and 14-year-old kids are going to LOVE it!

What is Future-Worm?

It is a new show that takes kids on epic adventures, and that shows kids that science is cool – which we all know it is.

The show is based on a 12-year-old boy named Danny Douglas, who created a time machine lunch box that he uses to visit different dimensions and meets his best friend, Future Worm.

Future Worm has titanium-enforced abs which comes in handy when defeating things like alien blogs who are trying to take over the Earth.

The show is created by the incredibly talented Ryan Quincy. If you don’t already know who he is, he is one of the masterminds behind the popular television series ‘South Park.’

You know that the show is going to be uber cool because Quincy got tips from his kids when creating the show to ensure that it would be everything that kids would want from a television series and more.

I can’t wait to share some of the first episodes with my kids later this afternoon, and they will be sharing their teen reviews with you tomorrow. If your teenagers haven’t already – mark your calendar for August 1st to watch Future-Worm for the first time on Disney XD.

Learn more about Future-Worm online at Disney XD, and don’t miss the premiere on August 1st.
