Fun Fish Fry Cooking Class at Surfas

On Friday, May 12 from 5:30-8:30 pm, join Surfas for a good old fashioned fish fry cooking class! They will be serving some of the classics and focusing on the techniques that make this simple and delicious classics still wonderful to this day.

Guests will be making two different kinds of fish in two different ways. Beer battered cod, and corn flake crusted catfish. They will be making remoulade and a classic style tartar sauce, they make a classic style Cole slaw but will add apples and pecans and toss it in a mustard dressing.

The fish will be paired perfectly with oven baked fries with old bay seasoning, and top off the meal with sweet biscuits and strawberries and fresh whipped cream.

Create and taste: Cole Slaw with Pecans and Apples in a Mustard Dressing, Oven Baked Fries with Old Bay Seasoning, Classic Tar Tar sauce and Southern Style Remoulade, Beer Battered Cod and Corn flake crusted Catfish, Sweet Biscuits with Fresh Strawberries and Whipped Cream.
