The OC Auto Show is happening at the Anaheim Convention Center all weekend. The Auto Show isn’t just for adults and is the perfect family weekend outing. This year, there are hundreds of cars, a child scavenger hunt, and test drive opportunities.

We brought our family to the first day of the Auto Show in search of a new family car. Instead of having to drive our family from dealer lot to dealer lot, we were able to look at every auto manufactures car all in one place, and even test drive a couple of cars that we showed an added interest in possibly purchasing this year. Our kids put the different cars to the test as they jumped into the seats of the cars in search of the most comfortable family vehicle. There was one brand that stood out to us among the rest, and that was KIA.

Over the past couple of years, KIA has risen to the top, becoming one of the most sought after family vehicle manufacturers. Our family has been test-driving the KIA Sedona for the past week, and we’ve fallen in love with the family vehicle. It is the ultimate luxury car with family-friendly features. From the backseat sunroof to the foot rests on the captains chairs, our kids are pushing hard for us to make the Sedona our next family car.

While we were at the Auto Show there was the KIA Sorento and KIA K900 that also caught our attention. Now that our children are getting a little older, the Sorento looked like a car that might better suit our vehicle family needs, and the K900 is the perfect option if we decide to make the move into a sedan.

We didn’t just have to look at the Sorento and K900 on the show floor, but go outside and take them for a drive around Anaheim. I walked over to the KIA Ride and Drive booth where I was greeted by a friendly girl who checked my drivers license, gave me a breathalyzer, and then had me complete a pre-drive survey. Once I was cleared to drive, I was escorted outside where I had my choice of six brand-new KIA’s to test drive. Since I am already test driving the Sedona for the week, I opted to drive the K900.

A KIA representative got into the K900 with me and walked me through the entire car before taking it for a drive. She showed me all the features, talked to me about the benefits of the car, and then it was time to drive. The minute that my foot touched the pedal, I was in love with the car. It felt like I was driving on clouds as the car glided across the roads of Anaheim. Not only does the K900 have a smooth ride, but also has some of the most advanced technology in an automobile. After driving the K900, it became my #1 choice for a luxury family sedan.

Upon arriving back to the Ride and Drive booth at the OC Auto Show, I took a post drive survey, was given a bottle of water and a parting gift. The drive was my favorite part of the Auto Show. We ended our day with our children participating in the interactive scavenger hunt throughout the Auto Show, and playing with the massive Hot Wheels track at the Discovery Cube OC booth.
