Our favorite thing to do together as a family is to have a family game night. Our kids would rather play games with us in the evening vs. watching television, and it is all because of interactive games available like Pie Face Showdown.
I have wanted to get the kids a new game to play, and when I found out about the Pie Face Showdown game that was coming out on October 1st, I couldn’t wait to test it out with my kids. Since this game is more of an “outside” game, I planned to surprise my kids with the new game during their after school snack time.
Once the kids finished their snack, they put the game together within seconds (I didn’t have to help at all with the assembly – it is that easy). Then I got a giant bottle of Reddi-wip out of the refrigerator, and it was time to play.
The kids played a ton of rounds of the game, and my backyard was filled with laughter while they were playing. Playing the game is easy. A parent adds some Reddi-wip on the giant red hand, the kids place their chins on the chin rest, and the tug-of-war style game begins. The kids push the button next to their chin rest as fast as they can, and nobody knows who is going to be the one that the hand flies up to smash whipped cream into their face. You can feel the tension in the air as each child is nervous about being the next to get whipped cream smashed on their face, but once it happens, it is all giggles. It is such a fun way to play a game together and helps the kids to embrace competition in a friendly way.
Pie Face Showdown is the perfect holiday gift that your entire family will enjoy playing for years to come. It is priced under $25 and will be available in stores and online at HasbroToyShop.com starting on October 1st.
