Two weeks ago, I hopped on a plane to San Francisco to attend Monsters University. Although I thought I was just going to San Francisco, from the moment I stepped off the plane, I quickly realized that I had become immersed in the movie “Monsters University.” While attending school at Monsters University, I had many vigorous classes before finally graduating.
When our plan landed, we got on a bus that brought us to the University where we would learn how to be the top scarers. As our first feet landed on the campus, we were greeted by the University band. The band was a festive greeting for our first day of school. As I walked under the arches of Monsters University, I felt that same feeling that I always got on the first day of school.
The marching band brought us into the school quad where rush week was happening. Different clubs were trying to get us to sign-up for science club, the book club and more. My classmates and I walked around the school quad to get our class assignments and sign-up for our favorite clubs.
Then it was time…time to start scare school. We had heard some rumors about the Dean being pretty scary, but I was ready to work hard to become Monsters University top scarer. Before starting class, I saw that there were some of my classmates practicing their scare tactics in the quad. I got a little ahead of the class by feeling out what their different scare tactics were.
School was a blast. I participated in the Monsters University Scare games, learned how to play a mean game of ping pong and even tried out for the pep squad. We had lunch every day together in the quad, and talked to each other about our dreams after graduation.
After we took all our scare classes and learned about the film, it was time to say good-bye and graduate from MU. Our entire class put on our graduation caps and said farewell as we all passed with an A+ in scare tactics. (I have to say that our finals were extremely hard) When we all left Monsters University, we were left with memories that we will never forget.
The film “Monsters University” is coming into theatres on June 21st. It will be everyone’s chance to see the story of when Mike and Sulley attended scare school – just like I did. While I was at Monsters University, I had an opportunity to see the first 40 minutes of the film. Although, I can’t tell you about the film yet, I can tell you that it is going to be a top hit with everyone’s children this summer. With the upcoming release of the film, we are happy to share the final theatrical trailer that was just released for the film, “Monsters University.”
