Ever since I was young, I have loved Disney Princesses! My whole world revolved around them, and now that I am an older I still love them! When Frozen came out, I was so happy. I had to get all of the Frozen toys and gizmos. I even had three Elsa costumes!
When I heard about Moana, I could not wait, and I was hoping it would be amazing just like Frozen. I heard about Moana about three months before it was going to come out. I was so bummed that it wouldn’t be coming out for a while, but then the very next day, Disney sent me the Moana book! I immediately started reading it, and I fell in love. It took me about a two weeks to read the book. When I finished reading it; I was so happy because it told me most of the story, but I still couldn’t wait to see the story come to life in theaters.
When those long two months the were over I was so excited! My family and I jumped into my mom’s friends car and were off to LA to see the movie. It took about an hour and a half to get there. Once we got there, we grabbed a quick bite to eat and headed towards the theater. Once we got onto the studio lot, we found the theater and took our seats. I was on the verge of crying; I was that happy. The curtains lifted, and I could barely contain my excitement!
The movie started, and it was unbelievable! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time wondering what was going to happen next. My favorite part of the movie is when Moana takes off on her voyage into the sea. I love movies that teach me about different areas of the world, and that is exactly what this film did! The music was fantastic too! After Frozen my music expectations were a little high, but when I heard the music from Moana, I was in amazement.
Once the movie ended, I was star struck. Throughout the whole car ride home, we talked about how much we all loved the movie, and I was so excited to see it again on Monday at the premiere!
