The OC Top Easter Egg Hunts
We’ve dusted off last year’s Easter baskets, pulled out the spring dresses, and have already eaten two full bags of Easter peanut M&Ms. For our family, these are all telltale signs of the next, long-awaited Easter tradition: the egg hunt!

This “egg-citing” egg hunt at the Irvine Park Railroad is known for its treat-filled eggs that won’t leave kids disappointed. Parents will also appreciate the fun as the hunts are divided by age and limited to a set number of participants. Additional activities include photos with the Easter Bunny, a Moon Bounce, a hay ride through the spring flowers, cookie decorating, carnival games, face painting, and of course rides aboard the train. Children may bring their own Easter basket or Easter baskets are available for purchase. Plan to arrive early for this popular event. Tickets are $5 each.

“I’ve got a golden ticket!” Well, there’s a chance in finding a limited number of golden tickets that promise a giant Easter Basket to the finders at the OC Marketplace Easter Festival and Treasure Hunt
Costa Mesa. In addition to the spectacular hunt, enjoy Easter brunch in true California street fashion with more than a dozen OC food trucks. Don’t forget to stop by to visit the Easter bunny, watch marionette shows and participate in other kid-friendly activities. As a bonus, a free toy will be awarded to the first 500 kids. Admission to the Orange County Market Place is free for kids 12 and under, and $2 for ages 13 years and above. Children are encouraged to bring their Easter baskets for the treasure hunt, however free hunt bags will also be available. Check the schedule in advance by calling or visiting the Web site.
