The Cirque Magique: A Morning at the Circus
We attended as a guest of the venue
On a Sunday morning, we surprised our kids with news that we were going to take them to have breakfast at the circus. When we drove up to The Pirate’s Dinner Adventure, my kids screamed “PIRATES” but soon learned that they were going to experience something fun and new at the Pirate’s Dinner Adventure, The Cirque Magique.
When we entered the building, the entire lobby was set-up like a mini circus. There was popcorn being served, and everyone was dressed in circus attire. Clowns were walking around greeting and interacting with children until the time had come for everyone to enter the room for breakfast.
In the main room, there were multiple tables and a large stage in the center of the room. Families took their seats and got ready for the show to begin. We had the choice of ordering breakfast or lunch cuisine, and our family all ordered the breakfast. The meal was a large portion and tasted delicious. The other families attending the show who were eating the lunch kept talking about how much they were enjoying their lunch just as much as we loved the breakfast.
The show was better than we could have ever expected. Our children were captivated by the magicians, music, and magic throughout the entire show. We got to see people being cut in half inside of a box, card tricks, and our younger son was even invited to join the stage to be a part of the performance.
When the show ended, our children didn’t want to leave. They wanted the magic to continue and asked us if we could come back again. When looking for a new place to bring your children for brunch, The Cirque Magique will not disappoint. Pricing is $59.95 for adults and $36.95 for kids 3 – 11, and there are discounts offered from time to time on their Facebook page. (Their current special is $24.50 for adults and $19.50 for kids. That price is valid through 4/2/17.)
The Cirque Magique is located at the Pirate’s Dinner Adventure building in Buena Park. Showtimes are Saturdays at 12 pm, and Sundays at 11 am. Learn more about The Cirque Magique online.
