Tips for Visiting Knotts Berry Farm Camp Spooky

Snoopy and all the peanut gang are all dressed up at Knotts Berry Farm for Camp Spooky. Camp Spooky is a fun thing to do in Orange County every weekend in the month of October and is included with the price of park admission. We have been bringing our kids for Halloween fun at Camp Spooky since they were just little babies, and we have some helpful tips to know when planning your family visit to Knotts Berry Farm.

Halloween at Knotts Berry Farm

Costumes
Bring your kids in their favorite Halloween costumes for fun trick-or-treating. From the moment that your kids walk through the gates of Knotts Berry Farm, they will be given a special trick-or-treat bag to collect candy throughout Camp Snoopy. There is also a fun costume parade that your kids are going to love at various times throughout the day.

Tip: Make sure and bring a change of clothes for your kids in case they get hot. If your kids have food allergies, we recommend bringing a treat that they can enjoy.

Cookie Decorating at Knotts Berry Farm

Activities
Children can participate in cooking decorating in Camp Snoopy for an extra charge. Your kids are going to love getting in the Halloween spirit when covering a delicious cookie with their favorite color of icing.

Tips: We recommend surprising your kids by doing this activity after lunch. It is hard for the little ones to resist gobbling up their cookie right after they are done decorating. We also recommend bringing a Ziploc bag to carry the unfinished cookie to munch on throughout the park.

Story time at Knotts Berry Farm

There are scary stories throughout the day for children to enjoy at the lodge in Camp Snoopy. This is perfect to do with your children when they need some quiet time during their normal nap time.

Rides
There are lots of rides for young children to enjoy throughout Camp Snoopy. They will fly high on the airplanes, zoom around a race track in their favorite race car, and take a spin around the Ferris wheel.

Tips: Most of the rides accommodate young children without the need of a parent to ride. There are just a few rides in Camp Snoopy where parents will need to accompany their children.
