Washable Sidewalk Paint vs. Sidewalk Chalk

My kids love sidewalk chalk. We go through multiple packages throughout the summer where they express their creativity on the street outside our front door. This year, RoseArt decided to send us some samples of their RoseArt washable sidewalk chalk paint to hear our thoughts.

The package comes in a set of two colors, that pairs nicely together. I’ll be honest that I brought the kids out in the front yard to start being creative just to learn there are more steps involves than just opening the package.

We came back inside of the house to mix water with the power substance inside of each jar. After I had my kitchen sink decorated with all colors of the rainbow, it was time for the kids to go outside to start using the new product.

The kids response: “it’s already gone”

My response: “it cleans up nicely”

We learned that it did not work on blacktop like regular sidewalk chalk – so only be prepared to use it on the sidewalk. It cleans up easier than sidewalk chalk, but you’ll make a pretty good sized mess getting the kids ready to use it.

Overall, if you are looking for an alternative to sidewalk chalk, then this is a great product. For the added cost, I say, just stick with the traditional chalk this summer. It will save you money, and the added stress of setting the kids up for summer fun.
