World Premiere of Fuller House

Fuller House Premiere

My daughter squealed with delight and almost hyperventilated when she found out OC Mom Blog was invited to attend the Premiere of “Fuller House.” She jumped up and down and said, “Really mom, you mean we get to see D.J., Uncle Jesse, and the stars of the show?” I calmed her down and said, “Let’s just enjoy it for the moment and remember, that they are just people!” Then she belted out, “Mom, you don’t understand, they are not just people they are ‘the’ people! I’ve watched every episode from beginning to end, some two to three times and even watched Jesse over and over!”

The “Fuller House” Premiere was fantastic to attend at the Grove in Los Angeles. The red carpet (graced with green grass), bright lights and exciting cast members were just some of the awesome highlights.

My daughter Kate said her favorite part was sitting amongst the cast members in the theater. Our pre-arranged theater seats were situated in front, and it was fun for my daughter to peer back and see all the actors sitting behind us. We got to watch the first two episodes of the 2016 “Fuller House” series! It was hilariously funny to witness the iconic humor happen right before us. The Executive Producer got up to speak and shared laughingly, “The couch is even an iconic piece that everybody warmly remembers as the ‘Tanners couch.'”

“Fuller House” was designed like the original series. The show is set in San Francisco and starts off with that wonderful song “Everywhere You Look.” Yes, it’s that jingle song that will stick in your head for hours, but I love it.

The focus is based on a recently widowed D.J. Tanner, who is now a veterinarian and mother of three sons. After her husband, Tommy, dies during his firefighting duties, D.J. enlists the help of her sister, Stephanie, and her best friend, Kimmy, to move in and help her raise her boys. I felt the new cast members did a fabulous job of blending in with their counterparts. The new members have their own individual quirky personalities which adds a whimsical humor to the 2016 show.

“Fuller House” is here to stay for many years. This iconic family will grace our living rooms for another 30 years. It’s a generational family Netflix show of fun. “Fuller House” is available on Netflix starting today.
