It’s a Joyous time of year, with communities getting together to Light Up the Season with amazing love and cheer! Your family is invited to celebrate the beautiful season at these family fun – Orange County Tree Lighting events!
Fashion Island Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony
November 7 & 8 (2015) – (5:30 pm)

(Located in front of Bloomingdales Courtyard)
Admission: Free
Families are welcome to join in the magical festivities at Fashion Islands Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony! Adults and children will be enchanted by the many Disney Characters performing musical seasonal favorites and magical dance performances. Annually, this event has been attended by thousands each night, so please come early around 3pm-4pm to get good seating, to view the magical performances by your favorite Disney characters! The Tree lighting ceremony will come to life at 5:30pm! Seating guidelines: first come first serve seating, reserved seating starting at 8pm, blankets or low lawn chairs only.
In addition to the Tree Lighting ceremony, every night from (Nov. 9-Jan.3), [email protected] 5pm), everyone can enjoy the lighting of Fashion Island’s towering tree, lit up Disney style to Disney music!

The Ritz-Carlton’s Annual Tree Lighting Ceremony

The Ritz-Carlton will hold it’s annual Tree-Lighting Ceremony on Sunday with a majestic musical performance by The Jeeps and a special appearance from Santa Claus! In the spirit of giving, our Guests are invited to bring a new, unwrapped toy to be donated to Miracles for Kids or guest may bring any number of canned goods and non-perishables for the Orange County Rescue Mission. Spirit of Love is the reason for the season!

The 19th Annual Crystal Cove Tree Lighting & Gift Bizaar!

Times: The Celebration starts @ 3pm, so come early!
Santa Visit @ (4pm) and the Tree Lighting starts @ (5:15pm)
Admission: Free
Parking: $5 per hour or $15 for Day (parking located at Los Trancos parking lot on the inland side of Pacific Coast Highway. Shuttle service is $1 each way/carpooling suggested)
Crystal Cove Alliance will celebrate the 19th Annual Tree Lighting event, a free family-fun event that takes place on the sand at the Crystal Cove Historic District. At Sunset, the Cove’s invitingly beautiful beach will light up the evening with twinkling lights and decorative ornaments on the beautiful evergreen tree. The historic district’s vintage decor (1935-1955), along with the beautiful seaside cottages will display an array of lights and will entice young and old with wonderment!
The Tree-Lighting ceremony will have strolling carolers and Santa Claus arriving at 4pm. The Beachcomber Cafe will provide hot cocoa, apple cider and homemade cookies.
The Bazaar will have hand crafted art work and gifts for sale and the fine art show will feature recognized California Plein Air artists with paintings of Crystal Cove. If that’s not enticing enough, the Bazaar will also include a complimentary lesson on wire-wrapping sea glass found at Crystal Cove…whether you create a beautiful piece of jewelry or tree ornament, the experience will be fun. Proceeds from sales throughput the season will benefit restoration, conservation and education efforts for Crystal Cove State Park and the Historic District!

The Balboa Village Season’s Celebrations will have a special Tree Lighting starting at 5:30pm. The family fun will entail free horse-drawn wagon rides, cookie decorating, wooden boat building, live music, Christmas Carolers, a visit with Santa, holiday movies and more with the Mayor and Santa!

This year’s Boat Parade of Lights theme is A Galactic Holiday. Guests are invited to view the parade from our one-of-a-kind setting that only the Ocean Institute can provide!
