Celebrate Christmas Eve and/or New Year’s Eve with some glitz and glam at The Ritz Prime Seafood. In addition to their full dinner menu, The Ritz will be offering a special 3-course Prix Fixe menu with wine pairings on both nights (December 24 and December 31). Guests will begin with an amuse bouche from Chef Phil Kastel, then select from a number of appetizers and entrees, and for dessert select from indulgent options like Passion Fruit Creme Brulee, Chocolate Flourless Cake or Piper Heidsieck Champagne Toast. In addition, a festive holiday-themed cocktail (details pending) will be available for one night only. The prix fixe menu with wine pairings is $150/pp.

Join the team for Christmas Eve as they celebrate with a themed menu based on cult-favorite film A Christmas Story. With the movie playing on a loop at the restaurant, and staff dressed in ugly Christmas sweaters, SOCIAL is the perfect setting for a fun and unique day-before-Christmas outing. And take-out is available too! Chef Jeffrey Boullt’s menu items will all be Chinese-inspired (a la the family’s Christmas dinner), with options like Hot and Sour Soup, Jidori Chicken Chow Mein, Honey Walnut Shrimp, General Tso’s Chicken Oysters, Whole Roasted Mary’s Duck Complete Meal, and many more.

On Christmas Eve from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m., Chef Ugo Allesina will be serving his regular menu alongside a decadent prime rib dinner for $44.95 per guest (plus tax and gratuity). Driftwood Kitchen

Located adjacent to The Deck on Laguna Beach, Driftwood Kitchen showcases fresh seafood, hand-shucked oysters, steaks and artisan cocktails led by acclaimed Chef Rainer Schwarz. Spend Christmas Eve at the beach on Thursday, 24th from 9 a.m.- 10 p.m. This Christmas Eve enjoy California Coastal vibes and breathtaking oceanfront views. SOL Cocina

Spend Christmas Eve at SOL Cocina for a delicious Baja-inspired lunch menu prepared by Chef Deborah Schneider. Sol Cocina’s new fall menu features the seasonal items with a focus on fresh, sustainable ingredients. Guests who opt to celebrate their Christmas Eve in-house will have the pleasure of experiencing a 3-course prix-fixe menu prepared by the one and only Chef Azmin Ghahreman in the most authentic way possible from 4 p.m. – 9 p.m. Reservations are recommended for Christmas Eve Dinner and can be made by calling (949) 715-9888. Orders must be placed by Dec 14 & picked up at Zov’s Bistro (17440 17th Street, Tustin) from 11 – 1pm on Thursday, December 24.

Chef/restaurateur Zov Karamardian, owner of 6 OC restaurants that bear her name, is offering the “ultimate holiday gift” – Christmas To-Go. Also a best-selling cookbook author, Zov says that the prepared meals feed up to 12 and are an ideal gift as it allows families to spend quality time with one another. Orders must be placed no later than Monday, December 14 and picked up at Zov’s Bistro from 11 – 1pm on Thursday, December 24.

The meal includes a choice of roasted aged beef prime rib with traditional au jus, rotisserie pork prime rib with sour cherry sauce or free-range roast turkey with sage gravy. Each meal comes complete with a salad of baby greens topped with blue cheese sprinkles and pears and tossed in a balsamic herb vinaigrette; green beans with sautéed mushrooms; glazed baby carrots; creamed corn; and freshly baked dinner rolls.

Menu highlights include Crab Waldorf with celeriac purée, crab, walnut bridle, tangerine gel, and dehydrated black grapes; Oven-Roasted Christmas Duck with braised red cabbage, potato walnut noodles, cider poached d’Anjou pear; and Ghana Milk Chocolate Mousse with cinnamon brûlée, caramelized hazelnuts, praline sponge cake. Cost is $60 for 3 courses and $19 for children 10 years and under; á la carte dining will also be available.
