2018 Orange County St. Patrick’s Day Dining Guide

You’ll have the luck of the Irish this year while enjoying delicious authentic food at one of these top dining destinations in Orange County.

The Blind Pig Restaurant + Bar — Rancho Santa Margarita
The Blind Pig Kitchen + Bar serves up shareable gourmet American cuisine, by Executive Chef Karl Pfleider, with an expansive selection of craft beers and specialty craft cocktails, by Bar Manager Ryan Autry. For St. Patrick’s Day this year, the team will offer a selection of $5 craft Irish beers on tap, a featured Irish whiskey for $6, and a single malt flight, along with craft Irish-inspired cocktails to be paired with Irish-themed dishes on special like Bangers & Mash, Irish Beer Battered Fish, and Corned Beef.

Cha Cha’s Latin Kitchen — Brea, CA & Irvine
The Latin inspired menu at Cha Cha’s Latin Kitchen adapts the culinary heritage of Mexico and Latin America to a fresh modern style. On March 17, the restaurant will offer a Honeydew Melon Margarita made with Maestro Dobel Blanco Tequila, honeydew melon puree, cucumber juice, serrano syrup, fresh lime juice and mint. The special cocktail will be available from 11am to 7pm for $10.

Ways & Means Oyster House — Huntington Beach
St. Patrick’s Day can’t get better with beach views and $5 Irish Bucks at Ways & Means Oyster House at Pacific City! Made with Tullamore Dew whiskey, lime juice and ginger beer, these cocktails will only be available on the 5 for 5 menu on March 17, 2018 only. Pair the cocktail with freshly shucked oysters, sliders or battered jumbo shrimp to complete the experience.

Farmer Boys — 8 locations throughout Orange County
Test your luck this St. Patrick’s Day with Farmer Boys scratchers! From March 13 through March 17, participating Farmer Boys locations will be handing out scratch-off coupons with each purchase. The coupons must remain unscratched until returning to Farmer Boys between March 18 – April 1, where the guest can scratch in-store to reveal and redeem the offer for a discounted purchase or free select menu item.


Bad to the Bone BBQ, located at 31738 Rancho Viejo Rd., will give traditional Irish dishes a wee bit of a barbecue flair this St. Patrick’s Day with signature smoked meats and Irish beverages available on Saturday, March 17.

The St. Patrick’s Day selections include: Irish egg rolls filled with shredded corned beef, braised cabbage, Swiss cheese and stout mustard, priced at $8.99; corned beef Ruben with Swiss cheese, sauerkraut and Thousand Island dressing layered on freshly baked rye bread with hand-cut fries, for $12.99; bangers and mash, beer-braised bangers with garlic-bashed potatoes, red onion gravy and crispy onion straws, priced at $14.99; and corned beef and cabbage served with red potatoes, braised cabbage and whole grain mustard, for $15.99. Irish beef stew and potato cheddar beer soup will also be available, priced at $4.99 for a small serving, and $8.99 for large.

Dessert options include Irish bread pudding, topped with whiskey cream sauce, for $5.99; chocolate pecan pie, priced at $5.50; and fruit cobbler, for $5.50.

St. Patrick’s Day wouldn’t be complete without beverages, and Bad to the Bone BBQ will offer pints of Guinness Draught, George Killian’s Irish Red and Black and Tan beer cocktails for $6.50 each.
