Salt & Straw’s “A Thanksgiving Celebration” Flavor Series
On Fri/Nov 2, Salt & Straw Ice Cream debuts their November “A Thanksgiving Celebration” series with flavors inspired by a multi-course Thanksgiving meal and the spirit behind the holiday communal table that brings families and friends together. Crafted by co-founder + head ice cream maker Tyler Malek, the celebratory series features taste provoking ice cream flavors, each prepared by hand in small batches, including Salted Caramel Thanksgiving Turkey, Spiced Goat Cheese & Pumpkin Pie, and Roasted Peach & Sage Cornbread Stuffing. The offerings will be available at the Downtown Disney scoop shop through the end of November with pints available to pick up in shop or for delivery through Postmates. For every pint of Thanksgiving flavors purchased, Salt & Straw will donate one to the Orange County Food Bank, who works to alleviate hunger in Orange County.

Roasted Peach & Sage Cornbread Stuffing — features fresh-picked sage infused ice cream studded with sweet and crunchy cornbread brown sugar shortbread cookies and spoonfuls of spiced peach jam brightened with a splash of peach vinegar.
Salted Caramel Thanksgiving Turkey — sweet and buttery turkey brittle is folded into a turkey fat caramel ice cream.
Spiced Goat Cheese & Pumpkin Pie — spiced cheesecake ice cream made with fresh, local goat cheese, swirled with streaks of fresh baked pumpkin pie custard.
