3 Mindful Mommy Tips for a Healthy and Happy Summer

Summer time can be a time of great fun and memories with your children. The kids are out of school, there’s no specific schedule to follow, no homework, no routines and lots of time to spend as a family.  This time can be a great opportunity to reconnect and sometimes a stressful time because the family is transitioning from structure to non structure.  The following are some self care tips for Mommies to enjoy and celebrate the summer and the gifts it has to offer.

Make Time for Yourself

Take some time time for yourself, every day.  It can be as simple as sitting mindfully for 5 minutes and paying attention to your breath, slowly drinking a cup of your favorite tea or going for a run, but making sure you take some time for yourself can be both nourishing and restorative.
