5 Things to do at the Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch

We visited as a guest of the venue

The Halloween season is in full swing, and one of the best places in Orange County to get in the spirit of the holiday is to spend the day at the Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch! The family venue offers something for everyone in your family to enjoy, and these are five of our favorite things to do when visiting Irvine Park Railroad during Halloween.

Ride the Train
Everyone’s favorite thing to do when visiting Irvine Park is to ride the train. It is decorated with fall colors for the season and will take your kids on an adventure of a lifetime.

Enjoy a Sweet Treat
Take a break from all of the fun to treat the kids to some cotton candy or popcorn. The snack shack also has lunch items if your family wants to stay for lunch.

Play Carnival Games
The carnival games are fun for children to enjoy while visiting Irvine Park. This year, they have multiple games including a ring toss and-and bean bag toss.

Panning for Gold
Your kids will strike it rich while panning for gold. The entertaining activity allows children to take their treasures home in a souvenir Irvine Park Railroad bag.

Tractor Riding
Younger children will enjoy getting behind the wheel of a mini John Deere tractor. They can drive it around a large circle and feel like they are working on a farm.

There are many other activities including cookie decorating, face painting, bounce houses and a spooky haunted mansion. Once your family is done exploring the pumpkin patch, have a picnic lunch or rent a bike to ride around Irvine Park. The fun continues until Halloween! Some activities require a paid ticket and parking is $5 on weekends and $3 on weekdays. Irvine Park Railroad is located at 1 Irvine Park Rd, Orange, CA 92869.
