6th Annual Festival of Trees

Sponsored

Celebrate the holidays this year by starting a tradition of hope and giving with South County Outreach. This year, families are invited to participate in an extraordinary event called the Festival of Trees.

Christmas Tree at the Festival of Trees

The Festival of Trees is to help raise awareness and funds for the housing programs at South County Outreach. At South County Outreach, they have provided over 10,493 nights of shelter to working poor and homeless families in 2018.

During the event, beautifully decorated trees will be displayed at Park Place Irvine from November 16th through December 6th. Guests are invited to come and admire the beautiful trees and bid on their favorite tree to bring home and enjoy during the holiday season.

We are encouraging families to bring their children to admire the beautiful trees and help raise awareness of the work that South County Outreach does in our community. Share pictures from the event with their friends and family on social media by using the hashtag #FestivalofTrees. After visiting the viewing of the trees, plan a date night to come back for the auction where you can bid on your favorite tree to bring home this holiday season.

About South County Outreach

For the past 29 years, South County Outreach (originally Saddleback Community Outreach), has been a leader in the fight to end hunger and homelessness in Orange County. We believe that helping people help themselves is the most effective way to build a self-sustaining community. Through the implementation of programs like our Transitional Housing Program, which puts a roof over the heads of 17 households every year, along with our Food Pantry, which distributes over 800,000 lbs of food and keeps nearly 2,500 children fed each year, South County Outreach is doing what we do best—housing hope and ending hunger, together. In fact, volunteers are an enormous part of our success; we have over a thousand unique volunteers donate their time for us throughout the year, along with 200 regularly scheduled weekly volunteers. Even though our name may have changed, we still rally behind the strength of community. Together, we do make an impact.
