I have been going to Brick or Treat for years on end with my family, so every tie it comes around I am more than happy to go. Princesses Debut Their ‘Comfy Clothes’ in Ralph Breaks the Internet

Posted by on Oct 25, 2018 in Disney, Entertainment, Film | 0 comments

I attended the interview as a guest of Disney One of my favorite scenes in the upcoming film “Ralph Breaks the Internet” is the Oh My Disney sequence that features all our favorite Disney Princesses in their ‘comfy clothes.’ Last August, while in Los Angeles I had the opportunity to talk with co-writer Pamela Ribon, Ami Thompson (art director, characters) and Kira Lehtomaki (head of animation) about the inspiration for the scene. While working on the film, it was in the back of their minds of ‘Why isn’t Vanellope, a princess?’ They thought it might be fun to have Disney poke fun of themselves so they thought that if Vanellope met all the Disney Princesses and took a selfie with them, that it might break the internet. When Pamela Ribon finished writing the scene, she had a little panic...

Father and Son Night at The Nitro Circus

Posted by on Oct 16, 2018 in Events | 0 comments

On Saturday we were guests of Nitro Circus Tour at Anaheim Honda Center. While I was not familiar with the show, I took my son and his friend to see the show. I figured if the title of the show had Nitro in there, it would be fun. We arrived at the venue and even before the show officially started, the activities were underway. The pre-show included interviews with some of the cast members and highlights from previous shows. Nitro Circus has been put together by Travis Pastrana who is a professional motorsports competitor and stunt performer. Travis with his crew of stunt men and women are currently on the You Got This Tour. The show is built around a number of platforms that will aid the stunt team to do wild jumps and in turn, create an...

Here’s the Beef: Farmer Boys Has the Best Burgers

Posted by on Oct 16, 2018 in Dining | 0 comments

We dined as a guest of the venue Finding a good fast food restaurant with quality food can be hard in the world of never-ending chain restaurants today. I am always willing to try new places to see if I can find a favorite and Farmer Boys definitely made the cut. My family and I went to the new 10th Southern California Farmer Boys in Irvine, and we had some amazing times and fantastic food. We started by walking into the comfortable family-friendly restaurant and walked up to the cash register. We all immediately looked at the menu above the cash register and figured out what we were going to order. We ordered out food and sat down in a cozy booth in the corner of the restaurant. I’m going to start out with what I had ordered, and...

Tips for Caring For Your Skin After a Co2 Laser

Posted by on Oct 15, 2018 in Beauty, CosmetiCare | 0 comments

I am a CosmetiCare Ambassador While having my liposuction surgery, I also had the doctor perform a Co2 laser resurfacing procedure. I had wanted to have a Co2 laser done for many years, and I figured that since I would already be recovering from liposuction that it would be a good time to recover from a laser. My results from the Co2 laser were amazing. Most of my wrinkles diminished and the discoloring of my skin that I had developed during pregnancy completely disappeared. To have the best results from the procedure, it is important to properly care for your skin for the weeks following the surgery. The doctors at CosmetiCare had recommended that I purchase the Alastin Skincare Procedure Enhancement System. I fell in love with the brand so much that I still use it for my skincare...

Supporting Children Who Suffer From Chronic Pain

Posted by on Oct 15, 2018 in CHOC, Family, Health | 0 comments

Sponsored Chronic pain is something that many children suffer from, and it is not something that is talked publicly about very often. I have supported a good friend of mine who has a child who has suffered from chronic pain for many years, and I have seen how the doctors at CHOC Children’s have helped to support her child and family lead a normal life as much as is possible. Earlier this month, I met with Dr. Harpreet Kaur, a CHOC Children’s psychologist about pain management in children. There are many causes and effects of pain, and one of the things they see a lot at CHOC Children’s is how chronic pain can impact a child’s overall functioning and participation in their own lives. Dr. Kaur shared that they see a child’s physical and social activities decline. Pain can...

Entertainment Bringing Families Together

Posted by on Oct 15, 2018 in Entertainment | 0 comments

Sponsored We all live such busy lives, and as my kids have grown into teenagers, it has been harder than ever to find times that we can all come together as a family. There is one thing that my family all has in common, and that is a love for entertainment. Unfortunately, the cost of cable television is something that is beyond the financial reach of many families, not allowing them to enjoy great entertainment together as a family. Since I travel a lot, and we are rarely home, I recently disconnected our home cable service. I have been researching different options to be still able to provide entertainment in our household and recently discovered at Best Buy the Google Chromecast Streaming Media Player. With the new device, our family can watch movies, shows, live TV, YouTube (my kids...
