Bring Home Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms

Posted by on Jan 29, 2019 in Disney, Entertainment, Film | 2 comments

After walking the red carpet at the world premiere of Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, and seeing the film, I was in love. The movie is based on the book, not the ballet, and is a film that families can enjoy watching together for years to come. The Nutcracker and the Four Realms One I saw the film, I couldn’t wait to share it with my children. Before opening night, I read them the books, took them to see Misty Copeland perform at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, and even did a fun little craft with them. Then, when they saw the movie, they loved it just as much as I did. Now, the film is available on digital download, DVD and Blu-ray for families to add to their home movie collections. I immediately added the...

The Nutcracker and the Four Realms Dance Class

Posted by on Jan 25, 2019 in Disney, Entertainment, Film, Giveaways | 18 comments

We attended The Nutcracker and the Four Realms event as a guest of Disney One of the best things about Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms is the music. While in Los Angeles a couple of months ago, I went to Pro Dance LA. At Pro Dance LA I got to experience a Nutcracker and the Four Realms Dance Class. The best part, is that it was taught by some of the cast from Dancing with the Stars/Dancing with the Stars Junior. Who you might ask? The amazing, and talented Brandon Armstrong, Alan Bersten & Gleb Savchenko. Not only are they talented, but so fun to dance with. Dancing at Pro Dance LA The studio is one of the most plush dance studios in Los Angeles. It features beautiful wood floors and head to toe windows. Plus, it...

Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms Teen Review

Posted by on Nov 5, 2018 in Disney, Entertainment, Film | 0 comments

The Nutcracker is a timeless tale that everybody loves! Ever since I was a child, I have been going to see the classical ballet, and with Disney’s new Nutcracker and the Four Realms I can watch it in a movie theater! One big twist on the film is that it is not based on the theatre performance, but on the book! Before going to see the movie with my little brother, I read the children’s book and painted my nails with the new OPI Nutcracker collection, just to put me in the holiday mood. My little brother and I were super excited for this movie because we both have our own love for Nutcracker story, and know the original story by heart. He might’ve not seen the ballet as many times as me, but we loved it just the...

Copy provided/affiliate featured The Nutcracker is one of my favorite holiday fairytales and when I heard that it was going to be turned into a movie I freaked out! I can’t wait to see the new twist on the classic fairytale. Before going to see it my younger brother had asked me to read him the book, ‘The Nutcracker and the Four Realms: The Dance of the Realms,’ so we sat down last night and I read the book to him. Neither of us have seen the film yet, but since my mom had got the book, we decided to read it before we see the new movie. The cover of the book is one of the most beautiful book covers with the Sugar Plum Fairy dancing on the front. We started reading the book and were immediately immersed...

Best Holiday Family Movie: Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms

Posted by on Nov 2, 2018 in Disney, Entertainment, Film | 0 comments

I attended the premiere as a guest of Disney My favorite thing to do with my family during the holiday season is to watch Christmas movies. We have a list of our favorite movies, and we watch them over and over again throughout November and December. Earlier this week, I attended the world premiere of Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, and it immediately became my favorite holiday movie yet. In the film, Clara (Mackenzie Foy) is presented with a gift, and all she needs is a key to open it. She suddenly finds herself in a parallel universe where she goes on a journey throughout three realms: Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and Land of Sweets. At the beginning of her journey, she meets a soldier named Phillip who helps her to find the key. Clara...

World Premiere of Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms

Posted by on Nov 1, 2018 in Disney, Entertainment, Featured, Film | 0 comments

I attended as a guest of Disney It was a magical start to the week as I curled my hair, put on a fancy dress and went to Los Angeles for the world premiere Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. Before going to the premiere, I had the honor of talking with Mackenzie Foy and Misty Copeland about the making of the film. I then walked over to a festive pre-party where I sipped on a sparkling glass of champagne and participated in all the activities. There were people of stilts walking around the event, a hairdressing station, nail painting from OPI and a candy bar hosted by Ziploc. The room smelled amazing from the Glad candles that were twinkling on all the table tops. When it came to the food, there was salad and sliders, but the...

It has a fast causal set-up which is perfect for busy families with young children. When I entered the restaurant, I went up to the counter to place our order. The menu featured everything from...

No Spoilers! Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker Cast Talks Community and Closure

Star Wars is a community of fans from all ages and walks of life that treasure and protect the cannon of the Star Wars universe as a sacred religion. I am among them. The event was so monumental that it had taken me this long to fully process and try to put into words what I gleaned from the experience as I prepare to see this film.
