A Taste of Italy at The Italian Village at Beaches Turks and Caicos

We attended the Beaches Social Media on the Sand Conference

During our third trip to the Beaches Turks and Caicos Resort, we experienced the Italian Village for the first time. The architecture, colors, and decor made us feel like we were walking through the streets of Italy upon arriving at the resort. The true gem of the Italian Village are the rooms. From marble floors to rich mahogany furniture, the rooms are exquisite, and make families feel comfortable while traveling in the Turks and Caicos.

Once we checked into the resort, we were guided to our room by a knowledgeable employee who showed us all the features and comfort of the room before handing us our room key for the week. We stayed in the “Capri Block” of the Italian Village on the 6th floor that offered picturesque ocean views.

In the family suite, there are separate sleeping quarters for the children complete with their favorite feature – bunk beds (which also have a trundle allowing the room to sleep three children comfortably). The room has a door that closes so parents can have privacy, small vanity area, closet, desk, checkerboard and an in-room Xbox. Our children were able to check-out their favorite Xbox games from the front desk, and play them in the comfort of our room in the evening.

In-between the children’s room and the adult room is the magnificent bathroom. The bathroom has a large marble bathtub with relaxing jacuzzi jets to help parents to relax after a busy day at the beach. There is a semi-private shower with a waterfall shower head and double sinks. Parents can leave their high-end hair products at home because every room comes with Red Lane Spa exclusive shampoo, conditioner, body wash and lotion. The products help to clean the salt from the Caribbean waters from your hair while conditioning it so that families leave the resort with relaxed and conditioned hair.

The biggest treat of all is the master bedroom. The room is designed to give parents the ultimate comfort with a semi-private romantic atmosphere. The master bedroom has a flat screen television and a full mini bar that is refreshed every morning. My husband and I were able to enjoy beautiful sunsets from our balcony before retiring for the night in our plush master bedroom.

We have stayed in the Caribbean, Key West and now the Italian Village with the Italian being our favorite. It is the centrally located to dining and activities while offering premier luxury that many family expect when traveling abroad.

When planning your family vacation to Beaches Turks and Caicos, make reservations to stay in the Italian Village. I guarantee that you’ll have the vacation of a lifetime.
