Afforable Self Indulgence at Kalologie 360 Spa in Ladera Ranch

 Kalologie 360 Spa Ladera Ranch

Without getting too specific about my age, let’s just say the last couple of years have not been easy on my skin. So, I was excited to have the opportunity to learn about some of the products and services offered at Kalologie 360 Spa during their grand opening ceremony in Ladera Ranch this past week. While I invest pretty significantly in high quality skin care products, the one area I’ve really cheated myself on has been spa services. Well, after my trip to Kalologie, where I experienced several mini sessions demonstrating their products and services first hand, that is about to change.

This location, the first in Orange County, offers an affordable membership that will allow you to take advantage of spa services such as customized massages, customized facials, facial peels, body and facial waxing treatments, and micro resurfacing, all delivered by licensed estheticians and massage therapists. While a membership is not required for appointments or to purchase products, by joining at $59 per month for an annual membership, you receive your choice of one of the four free services available per month, discounts on additional services after that during each month, as well as discounts on Kalologie products you purchase. There is also an introductory massage or facial for only $49, as well as a very limited supply of annual charter memberships, at $39 per month, while quantities last.

Between the excellent annual membership offer, the beautiful, modern, calming atmosphere of the spa and each of its rooms, and the warm, caring staff who demonstrated their products and services, how could I resist becoming a member?

Some of the products and services offered by Kalologie that I was able to experience during the grand opening included:

A softening Dr Dennis Gross Alpha Beta Peel ~ This is an at home product that can be purchased in the spa. Though intended for the face, this was sampled on the back of my hand and I could see such an immediate difference that I bought a 14 day supply which included a finishing serum. Over time, the product is designed to increase hydration levels in the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. After just three days, my face has a more luminous appearance and my sister even remarked how good my skin was looking.

An exfoliating hand treatment and massage ~ I don’t know about you, but for me, hand massages are my favorite part of any manicure, so my hands and I particularly enjoyed this.

An introduction to the Derma Sweep Micro Resurfacing treatment ~ This spa treatment lifts dead skin literally vacuuming it away and is an alternative to more traditional forms of exfoliation. The esthetician demonstrated this on the back of my hand. While gentle I could feel it working. I have to say, after three separate treatments in one day on my hands, they never looked or felt better!

A Clarisonic Anti-Aging Sea Serum eye treatment ~ This treatment was applied using The Clarisonic Opal, an at home system that infuses serum under they eye for firmer, tighter looking skin immediately. Consistent use is supposed to reduce puffiness, improve skin elasticity, and reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

A relaxing back and shoulder massage ~ I carry a lot of tension in between my shoulders and after just a mini 15 minute session, I felt completely like a new person. More please.

Not only did I leave the grand opening feeling wonderfully refreshed, now that I have a membership I won’t have to feel guilty about coming back every month for a facial. And I can afford to add in a massage, which means, I will not only look younger, I will feel younger! Thank you Kalologie!
