Aquarium of the Pacific Best of the West Chowderfest


Chefs will compete to create the best sustainable seafood chowder at the Aquarium of the Pacific’s annual Best of the West Chowderfest. Guests will sample unique seafood chowders created by award-winning local chefs that are all made using sustainable seafood. There will be a ballot to vote for your favorite chowder, a variety of prizes and opportunities to learn from local fisherman and farmers.

The event will take place on Saturday, March 9th from 11am to 3pm at the front lawn of the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach. The cost is $10 for the public and $8 for Aquarium members. The ticket price does not include admission into the aquarium.

For guests wanting to enjoy the aquarium and the Chowderfest, there is a discounted package available that includes the Chowderfest and aquarium admission for $29.95 adults and $19.95 children ages 3 to 11.
