Currently I have the pleasure of being a manager of Social Media at major international company, so I can speak with a little bit of authority on the subject, and the reality is, you need to be careful what you Tweet. Not only as a business, but as a regular old twitter. There are a whole lot of ways that you can get yourself and your kids in trouble online. So here are 5 ways to protect yourself on twitter: 1. The little Canon,...

This is something that happens a lot, seeing as I manage the online social communities for a major brand. She had a bit of an interesting situation as single Mom at odds with he Ex-Husband regarding online safety. In other words, she said no, her husband said yes, and she lost out to the more preferential answer. Instagram more and more has become the platform that many parents use as the first step into the social world with their kids. Which makes a certain amount of sense, the security setting are pretty straightforward, either you’re account is private or not. There is definitely a conversation that needs to happen though between you and your kids. Personally when my kids are old...
