Posted by on Dec 5, 2018 in Christmas, Events, Holiday | 0 comments

Hosted Embrace a new way to get your kids and family excited about the Christmas holiday with this hands-on experience in a winter wonderland. As you wait in anticipation to meet and take a picture with Santa, let your child’s magical experience take flight! I brought my brother, my 9-year old niece, and my two sons, who are 4 & 6 years old and we were all in awe of this glorious experience. We first took turns at the Naughty or Nice O’ Meter. The kids got to log in their own name on a tablet, which put their name up on the big screen as the meter began, lights were flashing, and the kids were giggling waiting to see their results! It was so personal and so exciting. Luckily they were all on the nice list! We entered...

The First Step Towards a Healthier You

Posted by on Jul 9, 2018 in Family, Health | 0 comments

We visited as a guest of Hoag Before I became a wife and mother, I was just a woman. My days were full of schoolwork, my office job, the gym and of course, my honey Jarred. I was spoiled with me time. When Jarred and I decided to start our family, I was over the moon welcoming my two sons into this world and have been grateful to stay at home with them. Now that they are 3 and 5 years old, I’m constantly asking myself where the time went. Between breastfeeding, no sleep and little exercise in the early years, Jarred and I hardly found time for date nights, let alone time for just me. It remains the same way, even now that my sons sleep through the night and are potty trained, it’s just evolved into other...

Posted by on Apr 3, 2017 in Events, Museums | 0 comments

We attended as a guest of the venue Bubbles, bubbles, bubbles! When was the last time you looked into a child’s eyes, as you blew bubbles for them? I giggle watching my boys smile out of pure interest and race after the bubbles floating away. It’s like magic to them and always cheers them up. Could you imagine being completely surrounded by bubbles? Do not miss your chance to explore and play during Bubblefest at the Discovery Cube in Orange County this Spring Break. This event is open April 1st-16th. Make sure and bring the whole family to enjoy the endless fun. There are a few different stations to keep kids of all ages interested and smiling. It will surely be a treat for them. I took my 4-year old son, Piercen, for the very first time and was...

Posted by on Jan 17, 2017 in Events, Featured, Museums, Theme Parks | 0 comments

We visited as a guest of the venue Ready for some happy news? Trader Joe’s took over the grocery store exhibit at Pretend City in Irvine! This fun and engaging children’s museum started off their New Year with a bang. My family and I were over the moon hearing the news and were very excited to get a sneak peek. Donnie Martin, Orange County Regional Vice President for Trader Joe’s, was in person giving us the tour of the new kid-scale Trader Joe’s. “We are so excited to bring a Trader Joe’s grocery exhibit to help children throughout the neighborhood and beyond learn about the adventures in shopping,” said Donnie. I’ll admit I have shopped at plenty of grocery stores, but personally, my family and I are huge Trader Joe’s fans. It’s a weekly trip for me and always...

Merry Grinchmas at Universal Studios Hollywood

Posted by on Dec 16, 2016 in Christmas, Events, Featured, Holiday, Theme Parks, Universal Studios Hollywood | 0 comments

We visited as a guest of Universal If you haven’t found yourself singing a holiday carol, go to Universal Studios Hollywood during Grinchmas! Last weekend, my husband and I took our two young sons for our very first time. Grinchmas let us embrace the holiday spirit in full swing; it was a great, fun-filled Sunday. As we entered the park, our ears were welcomed by sweet carols and the sound of laughter. My 4-year old son, Piercen, and I caught ourselves singing along to Jingle Bells. Instant happiness! My 2-year old son, Harlen, was smiling ear to ear, pointing at the sparkling lights, ornaments and some characters he recognized, Spongebob Squarepants and Curious George were the first of many. Every nook and cranny were decorated for the holidays with a ton of detail. I loved it and appreciated every...

Must Have Summer Shoes: Bzees

Posted by on Jun 9, 2016 in Events, Shopping | 0 comments

We attended as a guest of Bzees Have you heard of Bzees? I hadn’t until I tried on a pair of their hip new water shoes, ‘Sea Dogs,’ before my very first paddleboarding lesson in Marina del Rey with ‘Paddle Method!’ Bzees is a shoe company that sells a few different types of shoes and even really cool, sporty bags. Girls – think lightweight, sporty, and fun. Sea Dogs are their new water shoes and are a total score for any girl who wants to feel like they’re walking on clouds! Bzees teamed up with Tim Sanford, Mark Stevens, and Claire Brueckner from ‘Paddle Method’ to introduce their Sea Dogs. I was able to put the cool new shoes to the test and were the best water shoes I’ve worn. Thank you Bzees and Paddle Method for an awesome...

Megan Fox Talks About How She Uses Acting to Get her Kids to Eat their Veggies, Feminism and TMNT 2

Posted by on Jun 4, 2016 in Entertainment, Film | 0 comments

We attended the interview as a gust of Paramount I met Megan Fox! I fathomed for hours how I’d describe my epic day, but honestly, these words won’t do it justice! Imagine driving to Los Angeles knowing you’ll be up close and personal to Megan Fox in a couple of hours. Keep in mind; this was my first time meeting a celebrity. Naturally, I was very eager to meet the beautiful Hollywood feminist of my time. Why? I was extremely curious about her life, after researching key facts about her. Come to find out, she is only two years older than me, and a mother of two young boys, who are almost the exact age as mine. Oddly enough, her oldest son was born on the same day as my youngest. In retrospect, I was fascinated thinking about our...
