White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Pancake Recipe

Posted by on Nov 27, 2017 in Recipes | 0 comments

Samples provided One of my favorite things to do on the weekends is to cook breakfast for my family. I am currently in my second year at the Orange County School of the Arts Culinary and Hospitality high school where I have been expanding my passion for culinary arts. One of my mom’s favorite snacks is Mauna Loa Macadamia Nuts, so I surprised her over Thanksgiving break by making her white chocolate macadamia nut pancakes, and it was her favorite breakfast that I have made for her yet. What got me inspired to make these pancakes was when I saw that Mauna Loa now makes chopped macadamia nuts, making it easier than ever to make baked goods with the delicious nuts. The recipe is super simple. You can use any basic pancake recipe (or mix – which I don’t...

Best Teen Summer Read – The Trials of Apollo: The Dark Prophecy

Posted by on May 15, 2017 in Books, Education, Entertainment, Family, Giveaways | 5 comments

Sponsored The one thing that I love to do is read. With school ending within just a few short weeks, I have been busy planning my must-have summer reading calendar. One book that I couldn’t wait to read this summer is The Trials of Apollo: The Dark Prophecy. Imagine my surprise when I received a box on Friday that had a copy of the book I have been dying to read – I dropped everything and read the book within a couple of hours. Who doesn’t drop everything to get their hands on the newest Rick Riordan book? The man is a genius of an author who immerses his readers into another realm. The Trials of Apollo is one of my favorite book series by far! The book is complete with puns, backstabbing, poetry and so much more! The...

Gamers Paradise at the Xbox Lounge at Beaches Turks and Caicos

Posted by on Nov 4, 2015 in Tech, Travel, Turks and Caicos | 0 comments

My mom attended the Beaches Social Media on the Sand Conference The Xbox Lounge at Beaches Turks and Caicos is really cool! I liked it a lot! The reason I like it so much is because of all of all the Xboxes lined up in one cool room. Each Xbox has a different game on it (Except for Madden NFL! There are 2 of them). The one thing that sold me on the Xbox Lounge being one of the coolest places at the resort is that they have a Bobby Dee’s Restaurant RIGHT NEXT DOOR!!!!! Whenever I was in the lounge, I would not play alone. I had made some friends while I was there and every day at eight o’clock we would meet up at the Xbox lounge and play. We made good memories there. We really did!...

Free Birds is hilarious fun-filled animation film. It all started when a turkey named Reggie saw the owner of the farm he is living on, planning to turn him into Thanksgiving dinner. He then starts to warn the other turkeys on the farm. Then the president of the United States (and his daughter) come to the farm to find a turkey to turn into the Pardon Turkey. Next his daughter decides that she wants Reggie to be the Pardon Turkey! Reggie is scared, very scared. Then Jake comes along and tells Reggie that his destiny is to get turkey’s off the Thanksgiving Day menu. Including all-stars Owen Wilson, Woody Harrelson, and Amy Poehler. This film is great for the young ones but even greater for the whole family! Me and my siblings loved watching this film. Every day on...

Summer Reading Series: The Wig in the Window

Posted by on Jun 26, 2013 in Toys | 0 comments

Andrew received a review copy of The Wig in the Window. The Wig in the Window is a great book about two girl tweens who are spies and always taking midnight missions, literally. One night during one of their missions they spy on their principle, Charlotte Agford, and they witness a murder that she had done. Then they start to think that Agford is a serial killer. So they try to find out if Agford isn’t really who she says she is. So then they try to find out if she is a serial killer or not. The story is a big mystery that you will never want to stop reading. One that people will want to read over and over again. It is a book I would recommend for kids ages 11 and up. That is because there...
