Creating Memories with My Grandparents at the Ringling Brothers Circus

Posted by on Aug 2, 2016 in Events | 0 comments

We attended as a guest of the venue The Circus has always been one of my favorite things to do. I have been going to the circus with my grandparents since I was a little girl. When we got invited to go to the Ringling Brothers Circus, I was so excited! The first thing I asked was, “Can we go with our Grandparents.” It worked out perfectly because my little brother, Tyler was having eye surgery that day, and our parents had to take care of him. I was so excited to go to the circus! Once we all got to the Circus we got our tickets and headed to go look at the animals. We walked through the row where a lot of the animals were. One of my favorite animals in the circus are the Tigers. We...

Posted by on Aug 1, 2016 in Mexico, Puerto Vallarta, Travel | 0 comments

I visited as a guest of the venue While my mom and I were staying at the CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa, we couldn’t not have a spa day at Ohtli Spa. The spa has so many great options for teens and adults. While My mom was off getting her massage, I went into their nail salon to get my nails done. Once I walked in I was greeted with friendly staff and shelves filled with different colors of nail polish. I was automatically in awe with everything about the room, from all the nail polish to the comfy chairs. I sat down in one of the chairs, and the first thing I did was pick the color I wanted. I ended up choosing the color white. After I had picked my color, they brought a warm...

I always thought hats were itchy or annoying, but the Mother Trucker Co hat has now been my all-time favorite headpiece (and I have a LOT)! I love the style too. My hat says #OC, but they have a wide variety of hats that say all different things. One of my favorites if “Kid Life.” Did I mention that some of them come in Glitter? Celebrating Friendship: The Peanuts Movie

Posted by on Apr 5, 2016 in Entertainment, Film | 0 comments

Review copy received I love watching the Peanuts cartoons on every holiday, with a bowl of popcorn and loved ones all around you. When I saw the first commercial for the Peanuts movie, I was really excited. My parents have watched the Peanuts since they were young and incorporated the Peanuts with my two brothers and me. I have grown up with the Peanuts, and they feel like practically family members. I couldn’t wait to see the Peanuts movie with my family. The Peanuts movie is hilarious! I was laughing, almost through the entire thing. Whenever you need a good laugh, you should watch the film. The Peanuts are the cutest little characters, and they bring the-the fun everywhere you go. Throughout the movie, there are a couple of sad moments, but it always ends up somewhere fun. The...

Candy Mine at Miners Diner Julian

Posted by on Feb 5, 2016 in Dining, San Diego, Travel | 1 comment

When I was dining at the Miners Diner in Julian, I noticed a whole in the wall with steps leading down and an arrow pointing towards it saying, “Come see our Candy Mine!” I was a little curious about what it was going to be, so I asked my parents if I could go down there to check it out. When I was walking down the steps, I started to smell candy immediately. When I got down the steps, I was so overwhelmed by all the candy! They had literally every type of candy there I could imagine. It was probably the coolest thing I had seen in Julian (other than the real mine I had just finished visiting.) I was excited. I stayed down in the candy mine for at least ten minutes before I ran back up...

CosmetiCare HydraFacial Helps Teens Battle Breakouts

Sponsored As I have been entering the tween/teen years I have noticed my face starting to get acne. I was doing everything I could to try and make it go away, from washing my face twice a day to putting on face masks, but it wouldn’t go away. It is my forehead that was getting the most acne, and it was starting to bother me more and more. During our holiday break from school, I went with my mom to her CosmetiCare appointment. My brother and I were waiting patiently in the waiting room for my mom to finish her HydraFacial. While she was getting her facial, she told them about my concern over the acne I was developing. Once my mom had finished her facial, she brought me back so that they could look at my facial acne....

We attended a screening as a guest of the venue The force is strong in theaters this weekend, but let’s not forget about another great movie that has opened in theaters this weekend, “Alvin and the Chipmunks Road Chip.” About a week ago, I watched “Alvin and the Chipmunks Road Chip.” I have always been a fan of the Chipmunks and Chipettes, so I was so excited when my mom got the invite to attend the “Alvin and the Chipmunks Road Chip” red carpet at Fox Studios. Although it was pretty cold, I had a blast, and “Alvin and the Chipmunks Road Chip” is now my favorite chipmunk movie. Why see this movie this weekend? Here are my five reasons… The laughter! Sometimes they would leave nasty imprints or just not stylish, and I don’t even want to talk about the girl that got that gross rash from wearing a hair band unprotected – ewwww. I LOVE this Gold Hair Tie Bracelet! I was thinking to myself “How did I live without this?” The Gold Hair Tie Bracelet has now become my favorite bracelet. With the Hair Tie Bracelet (made by Bittersweet) You can wear a cute bracelet anywhere. I went with my mom, and I have to say it was probably the best first concert ever! I had a blast singing and dancing along to all the songs I knew. The Staples Center was probably the most energetic place in the world throughout the entire evening. When we first got into the Staples Center, I was literally bursting with excitement. As we made our way over to our seats, I was already so overwhelmed with joy. Then I saw where we were sitting; I almost fell right down the steps as I said to my mom “These our seats!” I was so...

While I was walking around the resort with my mom, I saw the artist drawing amazing Sesame Street characters. What are the odds of that? Totally seeing a famous Sesame Street artist drawing on the sidewalk of a Beaches Resort! I walked over, and he asked me if I wanted to help? I was like ” I’d love to.” I got to work while other kids joined and started drawing Sesame Street characters too. Some of the days I was at Beaches I stayed the whole day at the water park. My personal favorite part of the water park is the big slides. The music and lights were so perfect while we ran through the foam together. While I was having fun running through the foam, my brother was at the Xbox Lounge, which sounded pretty cool too, but we all agreed that the foam party was the best. Review product received My brother was rethinking dressing up for Halloween this year, and I thought it wouldn’t be fun without him. He is always stressed out about going out to Trick-or-Treating because of his food allergies, and the fact that he usually can’t eat any of the candy. So being the fashionista I am I went on-line and found something that I knew he would like – awesome morph suits. My family and I surprised him with an awesome morph suit, and suddenly he wanted to go trick or treating again with us. He was so happy he wore it for most of the night trying to scare family members. The morph suit isn’t just a regular color morph suit; it’s a monster morph suit. While my brothers and my dad are more into action and adventure movies, me and my mom prefer a love story or mystery. Even though my brothers don’t like love stories, they liked this one. This movie has become one of my favorite movies. I could keep watching it over and over again if I could. It all started at the beginning when Margo and Quentin were about my age, and they were going on mysteries together. It showed them growing up until they got to their senior year of high school. They grew apart over the years until they came back together right before Margo (Cara Delevingne) disappeared. Secretly Quentin (Nat Wolff)...

How to Create a Red Carpet Beauty Look

So I know some of you OC moms are wondering how to create a red carpet beauty look, but don’t worry – I have the answer. First to prepare for the red carpet, you are going to need to find your prettiest dress you have. Make sure that it is the prettiest dress in your closet or else you might feel a little awkward wearing sweat pants and a t-shirt. Next, make sure the dress doesn’t have any rips or stains on it before getting dressed. Lastly, put on the dress, and look at how beautiful you are in the mirror. Now time for my favorite part – makeup! Find any lipstick or lipgloss and put it on (make sure you only get it on your lips, so you don’t stain your skin). Then find any foundation or blush...
