Renegade Summer Trail Running Series

Posted by on Jun 26, 2014 in Family, Featured, Fitness, Health | 0 comments

I was given a chance to participate in trail running series this summer. Renegade Race Series have a three Race event this summer. Thursday nights on June 19, July 10, and August 7th at the Cedar Grove Park in Tustin. Last night a couple of my friends and I drove to Tustin to run the first 5 mile race of the series. We left with plenty of time since I had never been there and traffic is always a given. The parking was easy, fast and FREE! Best of all there was no traffic. Picking up our bibs, shirt and goody bags was easy and quick. The volunteers were super friendly and helpful. The park had a couple of bathrooms, and the Race had more brought in. At 6:00 they started inviting anyone who wanted to warm up before...

Orange County Spin Classes at GRIT Cycle in Costa Mesa

Being a busy mom, I can’t always get to a class 30 min in advance to get my “favorite spot”,...

A sport, any kind of sport is what my family and I love! And when we are given an opportunity to go to a Basketball game from the Smile Generation, we couldn’t help but smiling. As soon as we walked into the Staples Center to watch the LA Clippers play against the Toronto Raptors the vibe is electrifying. The music, the players warming up, and the clipper stars dancing. It all comes together to create a fabulous family night. We have loved watching basketball on TV and follow several teams, keeping up with their scores and several players statistics. But watching it in person is a very different experience, and my kids were smiling from ear to ear! The crowd goes crazy with every point scored and you can feel the excitement every time Griffin or another player dunks...
