Banana Caramel Cream Pie Recipe
Who doesn’t love a slice of homemade pie after dinner? I have been challenging myself to try new things in the kitchen this year, and that includes becoming a better baker. I am great with making a healthy and delicious dinner, but when it comes to desserts, I fail miserably. While on my quest to become a better baker, I decided to make something simple for my first dessert and ended up with an incredibly delicious banana caramel cream pie.
I was walking around the grocery store trying to think of what ingredients I could use to make the pie and wanted to ensure and keep the instructions simple. It ended up being one of the easiest things I have ever made, and everyone in my family devoured it.
Ingredients:
1 Pre-made pie crust (freezer section)
1 Package of Cool Whip
1 Jar of caramel sauce
3 Bananas (diced)
Directions:
1. Cook the pie crust per the package instructions
2. Slice the bananas into 1″ slices
3. Mix the bananas and 2-3 Tbl. of caramel sauce with the cool whip in a bowl
4. Once the pie crust has cooled, add the mixture
5. Refrigerate overnight
6. Drizzle with remaining caramel sauce
7. Serve cold
Wow that look amazing. I love love love Banana Cream Pie. I wonder like I can just make the cream and top it off on another banana cheese cake recipe I found not too long ago.
