Best Breakfast in Pasadena: Lincoln

We dined as a guest of the venue

On our last day visiting Pasadena, I wanted to go to the best place in town for breakfast. With Pasadena being a culinary hot spot, there are so many choices when it comes to dining out. I asked around, and everyone mentioned Lincoln.

After checking out of our hotel at the Courtyard Pasadena, we drove in over to Lincoln for breakfast. While on our way to the restaurant, we spotted a fun fork in the road and stopped to capture a photo of the funky roadside attraction.

When we arrived at the restaurant, it looked like a warehouse. I parked our Kia Sorento in the parking lot and walked into the restaurant. The minute that I entered the restaurant, I was in love with the vibe. There was a line of people waiting to order that went out the door, giving us plenty of time to decide on our order before getting to the cash register.

There were so many items on their menu that sounded delicious. The kids couldn’t resist ordering the pancakes with chocolate chips. When their breakfast arrived, the pancakes were huge, fluffy and delicious.

Since we got a late start that morning, and it was getting close to lunchtime, I ordered the steak salad. The hanger steak salad featured romaine lettuce, blue cheese, plancha potato, tomato confit and crispy onions. It was light, refreshing, and delicious.

Once we were done eating, we walked around the store and purchased some snacks to enjoy on the road home. Lincoln far exceeded my expectations and is one of my favorite places to go for breakfast or lunch in Pasadena. Lincoln is located at 1992 Lincoln Avenue, Pasadena CA 91103.
