Bring Home Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms
After walking the red carpet at the world premiere of Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, and seeing the film, I was in love. The movie is based on the book, not the ballet, and is a film that families can enjoy watching together for years to come.
The Nutcracker and the Four Realms
One I saw the film, I couldn’t wait to share it with my children. Before opening night, I read them the books, took them to see Misty Copeland perform at the Segerstrom Center for the Arts, and even did a fun little craft with them. Then, when they saw the movie, they loved it just as much as I did.
Now, the film is available on digital download, DVD and Blu-ray for families to add to their home movie collections. I immediately added the film to my Movies Anywhere account once it was available, and my daughter and I have been watching it almost every night since.
Misty Copeland
Bonus features include a discussion with American Ballet Theatre’s Misty Copeland about her role as the enchanting Ballerina Princess, her personal history with “The “Nutcracker” ballet. Plus, her inspirational and historic rise within the world of dance.
Extras take viewers on the set of “The Nutcracker and the Four Realms” to meet both new and reimagined characters, and discover how the Land of Sweets, Land of Snowflakes, Land of Flowers and mysterious Fourth Realm were created to such dazzling effect. Deleted scenes provide a look at magical moments that didn’t make the final version of the movie.
Disney’s The Nutcracker and the Four Realms is available starting today on digital download, and in stores nationwide. Don’t miss bringing this movie home, and enjoying it for years to come with your children.
