BRIO Tuscan Grille Delicious Fall Menu

We dined as a guest of the venue

One of my favorite places to dine al fresco at the Irvine Spectrum Center is BRIO Tuscan Grille. The restaurant features a beautiful outdoor patio that makes guests feel like they are dining at a restaurant in Italy. When I learned that BRIO Tuscan Grille was launching a new fall menu, I couldn’t wait to bring my kids for an early dinner at the exclusive dining destination.

It was a beautiful evening when we dined at the restaurant. The sun was just starting to set, and the weather was starting to cool down. We took a seat at a table towards the back of the patio where my family embarked on an unforgettable epicurean adventure. I sipped on a glass of sangria while overlooking the menu with my husband. While we were making our dining decisions, the server brought out a basket of freshly baked bread.

The one thing that caught our eye on the menu was the sliced steak bruschetta. Our server told us that it is one of the most popular appetizers on the menu, and we quickly learned why. The bruschetta featured thinly sliced steak, gorgonzola cheese, arugula, charred tomato, and parmesan. Our children devoured every last bite of the delicious appetizer.

Since we were dining early on a weekday, our children enjoyed sharing the two-course early dinner combo. It is available Monday through Friday from 3-5:30 pm and comes with a soup/salad, and a featured entree. Our kids got the combination with the kale caesar, and it was one of the best salads they have ever had (plus it is only 420 calories). The salad featured tricolore lettuce, marinated kale, tomatoes, chopped egg, croutons, and pancetta tossed in a caesar dressing.

When it came to the new fall menu, it was the chicken and mozzarella stuffed ravioli that I couldn’t wait to try. The dish featured all the flavors of fall, and it had me thinking of cooler temperatures and falling leaves. The ravioli came topped with pancetta, sweet potatoes, asparagus, light champagne cream, gorgonzola, pine nuts, and a balsamic glaze.

While I was enjoying my pasta, my husband couldn’t stop raving about the grilled balsamic glazed pork chop. The tender piece of meat came with sweet potatoes, mushrooms, pancetta, brussels sprouts, caramelized onion, and a maple balsamic vinaigrette – oh my!

Since we wanted to try all three new menu items, we all shared the Steak Saltimbocca. The dish featured steak stuffed with prosciutto and provolone, crispy fingerlings, chile flake, fried sage, broccolini, and a Marsala sauce. The dish had unique flavors and one that I would recommend.

Finally, we ended our dinner with a key lime pie and Snickerdoodle Peach Cobbler, served warm with vanilla bean gelato, and powdered sugar.

BRIO Tuscan Grille is the perfect place for your family to enjoy and intimate and delicious dinner together this fall. These special menu items are only available until October 1st. BRIO Tuscan Grille is located at the Irvine Spectrum Center, and reservations are available by calling (949) 341-0380.
