Burke Williams Revamps Their Nourishing Facial
We received a complimentary facial to share our honest opinions..
With the dry weather and high winds, my skin was in dire need of a facial, which is why I could not turn down the opportunity to try the new Burke Williams Enhanced Nourishing Facial.
I arrived well in advance of my appointment at the Mission Viejo Burke Williams to check in, tour the spa and slip into a plush robe. Lounging in the quiet room, I had no idea the level of treatment I was about to undergo.
I was warmly greeted by my therapist, Summer, and escorted to the treatment room. She began with a hand massage followed by a paraffin (heated wax) dip, and then placed my hands in heated gloves. During that time, she conducted a brief skin analysis.
She explained this Nourishing Facial had been enhanced to include a new science that promotes dermal building, collagen production and extra hydration to restore skin.
The standard cleansing, exfoliating and peeling procedures were completed, and then she applied an herbal recovery oil that hydrates and reduces fine lines and wrinkles.
On top of the oil, she applied a Citron Age Defy Mask, which helped push down the oil deeper into my dermis. While the mask was penetrating my skin, she massaged my shoulders, neck and upper back. (Yes, I started to fall asleep!)
Removing the mask, she extracted my clogged pores, toned and applied an Eight Greens Phyto Mask.
After removing the mask, she spread a customized oil blend and clear skin booster. Placing moist pads under my eye area, she applied a dermal-filling serum that uses moisture absorbing nutrients, anti-wrinkle peptides and Hyaluronic Acid to target and smooth out wrinkles, restore suppleness and hydration.
The final layer of the facial is a soothing Lavender Rosemary mask that leaves the skin nourished and firm. While the mask set, she delivered an amazing foot massage.
Removing my paraffin mittens, she applied a light moisturizer with an SPF and mineral powder. I left feeling relaxed, and my skin was glowing for days after my treatment. All in all, this is one of the best spa treatments I’ve ever experienced.
The new enhanced Nourishing Facial is currently available at all Burke Williams Day Spa locations starting at $165 for an 80-minute service. For the Mission Viejo Burke Williams location, call 949-367-9717.
