Buy ‘N Bulk Comes to Orange County

We visited as a guest of Buy ‘n Bulk

Prepare to be amazed, Orange County, because Buy ‘n Bulk is something to get excited about.  When I first heard of Buy’n Bulk, I wasn’t really sure what to expect. in short, I was beyond impressed.  When I arrived, I was greeted by Chris Carson, Managing Partner, and I have to say his energy and passion for this new concept was contagious. He really focuses on quality products and having a fabulous selection. He nailed it for sure, with over 1,000 different fresh items to choose from.

Buy’n Bulk offers organic, gluten free, soy free, whey, sugar free, low fat, fat free, and pure sugar just to list a few.  Buy’n Bulk is a wonderful option for many families that have different allergies and diet restrictions for so many of us.  No need to travel around town going to different stores attempting to meet everyone’s needs within your home, Buy’n Bulk is a one stop shop.

The best part of all, the price!  When shopping at Buy’n Bulk, the customer determines what is needed to ensure just the right amount,  large or small at “bulk pricing”.  Whether you are looking for sweet treats, raw nuts, spices, or specialty items you will find what you are looking for and much more.  I was truly impressed with the freshness of all the items I purchased.  The freshness is achieved by keeping the bins shallow and turned over several times a day to keep things fresh and crisp.

I browsing, Chris informed me that recipe cards are provided for every item he carries in the store, it was incredible.   I picked up a few recipe cards of items that I was curious about but slightly nervous about how to use them in my own kitchen;  the recipe cards encouraged me to try the spicy quínoa. It has since become a family favorite.

Shortly after my visit to Buy’n Bulk, my son had friends over for a party so I fed them with many of the items that I purchased.  Everyone really enjoyed the items I shared.   The boys liked the energy bites and the “s’mores snack mix” best, they called them “mouthwatering”!  I will be back to purchase these items in bulk, and I should mention these items can not be found anywhere else.

Seniors receive 15% off every Wednesday and “Sweet Sundays” offer an additional $1.00 of per pound on any sweets or pretzels each Sunday.  Buy’n Bulk is a great option for stocking up for the family, buying for a party, sports snacks shacks, and with summer upon us, there are plenty of ice cream bar toppings.  They even have a Patriotic Candy Corn mix for the July 4th festivities!

Chris very graciously has offered OC Mom Blog readers a coupon for 20% off one single item, so hurry in and use your coupon at the Fountain Valley location or the new location in the Anaheim Packing District.  Just mention OC Mom Blog to save!

  1. I have ac question about a photo you posted. You have fruit in apothecary jars. Is it fake fruit for looks or is it real fruit and if real please expand on how well it holds up there compared to an open fruit dish. Thank you.

  2. Great article – love the concept of saving money buying bulk! Thanks for the great tips and bringing a new concept store to my attention. I’ll check it out next time I’m up that way.
