CASA Celebration of Children

The highly anticipated CASA Celebration of Children: Black and White Ball is going to take place this Saturday, April 18th at The Ritz-Carlton, Laguna Niguel. The gala will celebrate CASA’s work impactful work with children in our community for the past 30 years.

Keynote speaker for the event will be Orange County native, Philadelphia Eagles Quarterback, Mark Sanchez. Former NFL quarterback, Paul McDonald will be serving as the Master of Ceremonies. During the event, guests will have an opportunity to participate in a silent and live action. There will be dancing and entertainment including a performance by Grammy Award-winning performer, Marvin Young (aka Young MC).

This unforgettable evening will honor Anton and Jennifer Segerstrom as this year’s Children’s Champions, and South Coast Plaza as the Outstanding Corporation. The event is Chaired by Lauren Wong and Brenda St. Hilaire, who are assisted by a committee of over 60 dedicated volunteers, including Advisory Chairs Lourdes Nark and Wendy Tenebaum, and Executive Committee Members Lisa Argyros, Kathryn Cenci, Jaynine Warner, Janine Wald and Linda Young.

Proceeds from the gala will help to change the lives of abused and neglected children in Orange County. The gala is expected to raise more than $750,000 to benefit the more than 2,300 children currently in the Orange County foster care system. CASA volunteers guide these children into environments in which they can thrive. Proceeds from the Black & White Ball help CASA provide caring volunteers for nearly 1,000 children each year.
